The Battle For Sky Book 1: A Dark Secret

Chapter 8

Sky's POV

I was asleep in my room last I knew, but when I woke up, I was in my father's study. How did I get here? I thought I was in my room back at the base, but now I'm here of all places. Why did I have to come here of all places? Why couldn't I have been brought somewhere else?

"I see that you came to accept my request Sky" commented Herobrine.

"What request? Why am I here? What do you what with me Herobrine?"

"I thought you all ready knew Sky, I want you to join me. What else would I want from you? questioned Herobrine.

"As if! I would never join you! Even if it costs me my life!" I screamed.

"You know that you want to Sky, just join me and we can be a happy family again." replied Herobrine.

"Join me Sky, join me, Sky, Sky, Sky...."

"Sky wake up its time for lunch, come on wake up knuckle head!" said Seto trying desperately to wake up Sky.

Then Sky jolted awake as if having some kind of horrible nightmare. Seto could see that Sky's face was as pale as a ghost's. Sky viciously shook his head trying to clear his thoughts of what just happened. Seto could easily see that something happened when he was away.

"You ok? You look as though you saw a ghost or something." Seto asked seeing if I would respond right away. And to his surprise I did.

"I had a dream, that I was in Herobrine's study. He was urging me to join him. Saying that we'd be a happy "family" again if I did. I-I-I don't know what to do Seto. I just don't....."

Seto's POV

I didn't know what to say, I mean Sky is in more trouble than I thought. If Herobrine is going to that tactic than he must be desperate. But first I need to get Sky to the dining room before everyone starts to worry.

"Come on let's get you some lunch, ok? How does that sound Sky?"

"That sounds like a good idea. What's on the menu?" Sky asked.

"I don't know, it's a "Jason Surprise". That's all I can say" I said joking around. I saw Sky smile. Then out of nowhere Sky hugs me.

"Thank you Seto, thanks to you and the rest of the gang, for not turning your guy's backs on me. I appreciate that, you know?" Sky asked.

"Hmm, let's get you some food" I replied.

"Ok" replied Sky.

"Seto need help waking up S-S-Sky??? SKY!!!!! Your awake! I thought you wouldn't be awake for lunch. I'm so happy to see that your awake." Ian cheered happily.

"Yeah I'm awake, now what's for lunch? Sky said jokingly.

Sky's POV

Ian walks into the room with his hand on the back of his head.

"Seto need help waking up S-S-Sky??? SKY!!!!! Your awake! I thought you wouldn't be awake for lunch. I'm so happy that your awake" Ian cheered happily.

"Yeah I'm awake, now what's for lunch?"

Before anything else could happen, Ian ran up and hugged me. Wow I must've worried everyone by the looks of it. I tried to get out of the bed but when I tried to stand up, my legs gave in and I nearly landed on the floor. Thank Notch that Ian and Seto were there, because thanks to them, I didn't end up landing on the floor. I probably would've made my injuries worst if that happened.

"You okay!?!" Ian asked worriedly.

"What happened Sky?" Seto asked curiously.

"I don't know. I just got really light headed, and my legs gave in. I don't know why though." I replied.

"Ian help Sky over to the dining room while I fix his bed up" commanded Seto. He nodded to Ian, and Ian nodded back in response.

As we headed out the door I heard Seto murmuring something, but when I turned around, he was catching up to us, and the bed was made by the time that he caught up to us. Guess he was muttering a spell that would fix the bed. Lets hope no one wants to give me another bear hug next.

When we got to the dining room, everyone turned around and just stared at us. But they mainly stared me, and I gave them a weak smile. They all smiled back and ran over to me. And just as I thought, they all gave me one BIG bear hug. They held it for so long that I said "Hey, take it easy guys!", while I was trying not to laugh at them. They all looked at me as if expecting me to pass out again.

"Hey guys don't worry about me I'll be fine in no time", I look at them showing that I'm making it a promise.

"Sky do you remember anything from last night? I mean anything, anything at all?" asked Mitch.

"Now that I think about it, I do remember Herobrine popping up in Seto's room, and I remember feeling really cold. I also remember saying thanks to you guys, and replying to that question you guy had about me becoming....him. But I was thinking of all of this in my head though, I didn't know that you guys could hear what I was saying. I-I didn't know that you guys heard me. I could hear you guys talking about everything, but when ever I thought about anything like saying "thanks" I'd get really tired and fall asleep afterwards. And when I'd wake up again it'll be while you guys are talking about something important."

"That explains a lot more than it before. Especially with all of this new information. Now I know for a fact why Herobrine wants you Sky." whispered Seto.

"Wait, are you saying that you may know why Herobrine was trying to take Sky to the Nether?" questioned Ty.

"We'll if you do then tell! We can't handle all of the suspense Seto!!! Just tell us why Herobrine wants Sky!!!" screamed Basher.

"Ow, that hurts you know. Especially since I have heighten hearing." replied Sky who was covering his ears from Basher's screaming.

"Oh, sorry Sky. I didn't know." apologized Basher.

"It's fine. Now please continue Seto."

"As I was saying, Herobrine is trying to make, or force, Sky to join his side. He's also after Sky's powers as well."
