The Battle For Sky Book 1: A Dark Secret

Chapter 21

Herobrine's POV

I was happily eating my steak and drinking my English Breakfest Tea. I was just stirring my tea and I was repeatedly adding sugar nonstop. I finally stopped when I noticed that Sky had came into the room. My heart lept with joy when he entered the room. At least he was eating with us instead of in his room. I teleported over to him and gave him a hug.

"It's good to see that you're alright. I hope you didn't suffer any major injures." I said. I smiled at him teleported back to my steak and tea, and resumed to eating my meal.

I saw Sky take a seat next to me and gave me a small smile. I smiled back and offered some tea to him.

"Sure" He replied and accepted a cup of tea from me.

Jason, Ty, and Seto left the room and returned with plates of food. They started handing them out to everyone. Wait. Weren't we already eating dinner? I looked around the table and saw that everyone else was previously eating lunch. Oh, I was still eating my lunch. A recruit walked by and took the old plates away and Jason, Ty, and Seto placed down some new ones down for us to eat. Ty gave Sky and I our plates.

"Thank you Ty" Sky said to Ty as he handed him his plate.

"Thank you" I said.

"No problem" Ty said with a smile on his face.

Ty wasn't the only one with a smile on his face. It seemed that everyone was smiling and having a good time since Sky walked into room. It seems that Sky makes everyone happy around here, and I guess that they'd be really depressed if they lost him. Einshine and Fredi were talking about how they made this new music video called "Hey My Friend" and they were talking about how awesome it was. Einshine said something that got me embarrassed.

"...And the security guard was all like "PEW! PEW! PEW!" and Hero was all like "You can't hit me foolish mortal!" Man was that awesome! Especially the epic fight scene that Hero did. What do you think Hero?" Einshine asked with a big goofy grin on his face.

"Oh...um I think it came out great, but you guys did most of it. Besides the video was mainly about you guys. I was only there to save your butts when the cops cornered you guys in a bar." I said.

We all bursted out laughing our heads off the moment I said this. I some how managed to fall backwards in my chair cause I was laughing so hard. That only caused everyone else to laugh even harder. Eventually I saw out of the corner of my eyes, that Sky was covering his ears with his hands. Oh dang it! Sky's suffering from how loud it was in here.

"Ok! Ok! Let's try to calm ourselves before we give everyone a headache." I said regaining my breathe.

We all calmed down after about five minutes. I saw Sky mouth "Thank you", and all I did was wink at him. He smiled at me and then resumed to eating his meal. I did the same thing and started to eat my potatoes and steak. I'm going to talk to Sky after dinner about his powers. I need to get to training him and soon. Hopefully my brother doesn't plan on visiting or something. He actually doesn't know that I have son... He would say something like "It's forbidded for us to have children" or "It's to dangerous for the mortals to around them, if we were to ever have children". Geez Notch, you can be a pain sometimes. Besides, there's nothing you can do about it now. The past is in the past, and you'll have to learn that sooner or later. Let's just hope that your uncle doesn't have a temper tantrum if he ever visits me Sky. Hopefully he doesn't even know that your my son.....

Seto's POV

We saw Herobrine fall backwards in his chair and we all started to laugh like a bunch of lunatics. After a few minutes of laughing, I stopped and started to catch my breathe. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sky holding his hands over his ears. I was about to walk over to Sky but Herobrine said something that prevented me from doing so.

"Ok! Ok! Let's try to calm ourselves before we give everyone else a headache." Herobrine said.

Wait. I saw Herobrine flash a look of concern over to Sky. Of course! Herobrine was trying to calm everyone down without killing the mood. He was aware of Sky's pain, smart Herobrine, very smart. I resumed to eating my meal and was finished in a matter of moments. I sat there thinking about all that has been happening to Sky lately. But what bothered me the most were how the new recruits had found Sky over by a lake that was near the base.

~~~~~~~Flashback to when Seto, Quentin, and Soul Were walking over to Sky's room~~~~~~~~

We were on our way to Sky's room when out of nowhere Soul starts to talk about how she and her friends had found Sky.

"You know Seto, the weird thing about us finding Sky was the fact that I found him first. After that everyone in my group started acting wierd, as though there was something wrong with him.... but it was mainly the fact that it seemed as though they though that something was wrong with Me. I don't now what's going on but I do know this much, my friends are hiding something from me. I also know that King Sky is in grave danger, I can feel it..." Soul said with such sadness in her voice that, I was starting to feel really sorry for her.

"Don't worry we'll handle this together, you won't be the one to face this alone." I said reasuringly.

She smiled at me and continued on walking forwards towards Sky's room.

"Thanks, that's exactly what I needed right now" She said, with tears threatening to spill.

"It's no problem" I said.

I do sure hope that Soul is doing okay. I'll have to check up on her later tonight. But for now, I have to worry about what we're going to do about Sky. Maybe he and I could train using our magical abilities, and then Herobrine could train Sky with his swordsmanship and his hand-to-hand combat maybe... I don't know. I'll ask them about it later but for now, I should probably enjoy the time I'm having with my friends....
