The Battle For Sky Book 1: A Dark Secret

Chapter 10

Sky's POV

I went to get up from the table when out of nowhere, I nearly collapsed on the floor. What's going on? I thought that I would've been healed all ready by now, considering how I'm part Brine and all. but what the Nether's going on? I know something just isn't right...

"Dang it! Not again. How many times is this going to happen? We can't afford to let Sky to keep on passing out like this for much longer you guys." Ty replied angrily.

"I know, but we have to deal with it. We'll have to deal with it until Sky gets better." Ian replied bitterly.

Was Ian angry with Ty with about something? Or did they get into some kind of argument while I was gone? I'll ask them about it later, but right now I need to get some rest before I pass out again.

"If you guys don't mind, I'm heading to my room" and without intentionally meaning to do it, I teleport out of the dining room into my bedroom.

"Oops, I didn't mean to do that" I said as I realized what I did. "Well they would've found out any ways".

I had started to climb into bed when I felt the aura of someone.

"Is that? Oh no! They're in danger, if he's back then my friends are in great danger."

I teleport out of the room into the dining room just as the light fades. Herobrine was here, and I couldn't stop him.

Ryan's POV

What just happened? Herobrine comes by and admits to saving Sky's life, he tells us his side of the story, and he seemed so worried about Sky back there. I saw Sky out of corner of my eye.

"Are you ok?" I asked as I turned around to see Sky leaning against the wall, pale as a ghost.

"Sky what happened to you? I thought you were in bed." Kermit asks.

"Just used a little too much energy that's all, and I was going to go bed until I felt Herobrine's aura here" replied Sky.

"So...why.....was....he here?" asked Sky. It was obvious that Sky was trying not to pass out.

"Sky you need to get some rest, you don't look so good buddy" replied Basher.

"I'm fine, I just gotta take it easy" replied Sky before collapsing onto the floor.

"Sky!!!" We all said in unison.

We ran over to Sky and Seto placed his hand on Sky's neck. After a while he sighed a sigh of relief and stood up.

"He's okay guys, I'll take him to my room. There's some things that I need to ask him when he wakes up" replied Seto.

"But-" Basher started to speak but was cut off by Ty.

"We understand, let's go guys. Who wants to play some Hunger Games?" Ty asked.

We started to head to out, and I turn around to see Seto dragging Sky into his room. "I hope Seto knows what he's doing" I replied.

Seto's POV

"He's fine guys, I'll take him to my room. there's some things I need to ask him when he wakes up"

"We understand, let's go guys. Who wants to play Hunger Games? Ty asks while they're leaving.

I sighed a sigh of relief. Now Sky let's take you back to my room. I started to drag him to my room, and man was he heavy.

"Dang Sky you way like a ton of Butter!"

Forget this, it'll take for ever doing it this way. I lifted Sky using my magic. And headed towards my room. I placed him on my bed.

"Now let's check that leg of yours, Sky"

I unwrapped the bandages that were around his left leg and saw that is was fully healed. Well that's a least some good news, but that still doesn't explain why Sky's so weak. Then I took a look closer and saw that there was a rune on his leg. It looked like a spider with a sword through it. Wait, a spider with a sword through it? I picked up my spell book and flipped through it and saw the rune again. Oh no, this rune is a theft rune. If someone with an aura like Sky's, mine, or Herobrine's, someone could use this rune to steal their energy. This means that the squids are stealing Sky's energy, which he needs in order to live and to use his powers.

"Hold on Sky, I'm gonna take this rune off of you. That way you won't suffer any more." I started to chant a spell that eventually broke the rune to shards.

"There, now it's time to examine this trap, who knows what else it's done to Sky......"
