A/N:

Hello! Thanks to demigodishness_0_0 for requesting a capture the flag chapter! Sorry it took so long, but I did see your comment. (Also, there will be two capture the flag chapters, this is just the one where they're getting ready for it and stuff.)

If any of you have a request for a chapter or something I should add, please tell me, I'm open to suggestions!

And now. . . get ready for chaos! (The noun, not the primordial being.)

🐦Clint's POV:

"Oh wow is right," I said in astonishment.

Two of the walls were lined with bookshelves filled with books of all different colors and sizes, one of the walls had a big whiteboard with equations, maps, and battle plans written all over it, and the last wall had two triple-decker bunk beds and a small desk pushed up against it. The desk had a microscope and a few test tubes on it, along with a few random papers. The walls were painted a shimmery grey color, not that you could really see it though with all the things on and pushed up against the wall.

Kids were sitting on their bunk beds, putting their armor on, and sharpening their swords and arrows, which, I'm not gonna lie, kinda freaked me out.

There were also some kids huddled by the desk, probably discussing game plans or something like that.

"Alright, does anyone have some armor these peeps can borrow?" Leo asked, examining a book sitting on a bookshelf.

"Why are you calling me a marshmallow?" Peter asked. "I don't think I taste like marshmallows. . . or do I?" Peter licked his arm, then gagged. "Nope, just dirt."

  Natasha facepalmed.

"He means People, Peter," Tony said.

A brown-haired boy with amber eyes who was about 14 glanced up from a book titled '10 Best Ways to get revenge on someone without killing them' and said, "I've got two shields and a spear they can borrow. Aren't these those Average guys?"

Tony let out a loud groan. "No, we're the avengers. Your camp director guy just got our name wrong."

"Nope," Leo said. "That is their actual name, they just decided 'Avengers' sounded cooler than 'Averages', but that's their real name."

Tony glared at Leo, while Leo just stood there smirking at him. "Ooooookay. . ." the boy said, not really sure who to believe. "Anyways, just go downstairs, also, don't they have weapons already?"

"Yeah, but they don't have any armor, and that might be a problem when there are twenty arrows flying towards them at ten miles an hour," Will said.

  "Wait, what??" I exclaimed. "Arrows?????"

All the Athena campers looked at me as if I was a bit strange.

"Oooooookay..." Will said. "Well, let's just head on over to the armory then."

"What's so bad about arrows?" One of the younger Athena campers yelled after us.

"THEY CAN KILL YOU!" I yelled!

"Yeah, and what's so bad about that?" they asked, confused. I stared at her, trying to figure out if this was some kind of joke.

"I AM SO JEALOUS OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T MET YOU, CONNER!" Some random kid yelled from the campfire.

"Uhh. . . welp," Will said and led us outside. We followed him until he stopped at a large black and red building. We stepped inside.
