Within minutes the six men arrived at Jimin's door. They knocked but got no answer.

"Use the code," Tae sniffled. Joon entered the code with trembling hands. His biggest fear that Jimin would reject them didn't come true, but he was plunged into a living nightmare.

"Oh my god!" Jin gasped at the sight that met them. There lay Jimin, ghostly pale and barely breathing.

"Call 911," Joon yelled. "Chim, Jimin, bud, please wake up. I"m sorry, Chim, this is all my fault. Please." Joon held Jimin tight in his arms and buried his face in Jimin's neck. Jimin, however, did not react at all. His head lolled limply, and not even his eyelids fluttered.

-----

The five minutes they waited for the ambulance seemed like an eternity but having to let the EMTs work on Jimin felt like hell on earth.

"Only one person can ride along with the patient."

"I'll go," Joon shot up and moved toward the stretcher.

"Are you related to the patient?" the EMT asked.

"No," Joon shook his head. "But he is a part of BTS, and I'm the leader."

"I'll call Bang P.D. and have him meet us at the hospital," Jin called out to Joon.

"I'll call Ji-hoon," Suga offered.

"No one mention the letter or apartment to them," Joon commanded. "I'll have to figure out how to fix this before shit hits the fan."

-----

The ride to the hospital was a quiet one for the five members in the van. Each blamed himself for Jimin's current situation. Jin put his arm around Tae, who looked devastated. He was supposed to be Jimin's best friend, his soulmate. He'd failed on all accounts. Numbness set in, and Tae hated himself.

-----

The ambulance arrived at the hospital, and the stretcher was wheeled into the emergency area. Doctors and nurses swarmed the unconscious man pushing Joon to the side.

For the first time since the formation of BTS, Joon felt useless. He'd failed in his job to protect and care for Jimin's emotional well-being. He'd allowed Jimin to feel unwanted, ignored, and unloved.

-----

"Family of Mr. Park?" A nurse emerged from the sliding doors as the other five members ran in with Ji-hoon on their heels.

"That's us," Joon responded.

"Follow me," the nurse motioned to the men.

"I'll wait here for Bang P.D." Jin offered. "Just message me where I should go."

"Sure," Joon nodded and hurried off after the nurse with the others.

-----

"He is severely dehydrated and suffering from malnutrition. There is no evidence of intentional starvation, no marks on his hands to indicate bulimia," a Doctor explained to the members and Ji-hoon. "He is stable right now, but we will have to keep him here for a few days."

"When will he wake up?" Tae asked in a whimper.

"I don't know," the doctor shook his head sadly. "He is very weak, and he needs to rest."

"Is he in a coma?" Everyone turned to the voice coming from the door.

"I'm sorry?" the doctor asked. "Who are you?"

"Bang Si-hyuk, I'm their boss and father figure. NOw is Jimin in a coma?"

"No, he is just sleeping now. I don't know what will happen, though." Bang P.D. nodded at the doctor before turning to the six members of BTS.

"I'd like to speak to you boys privately," the elder looked more serious than the boys had ever seen. Silently the six followed the man, leaving Ji-hoon behind to watch over Jimin.

"Yes, sir?" Joon asked, wide-eyed and nervous. Bang P.D. shook his head sadly, removed his glasses, and wiped the unshed tears from his eyes before speaking.

"I'm speechless right now. There really are no words to describe what I am feeling." The boys all shifted uncomfortably, shooting wary glances at each other.

"We, uh, we don't understand, Sir." Jin started.

"Cut the crap, Namjoon. I know Jimin left the Bangtan house." They all looked at each other in shock. "I also know you assholes only just noticed he was gone. Don't get me wrong; I'm glad you finally did notice, or Jimin might have died alone in that apartment, all because you are so self-centered and self-absorbed. Too busy in your romances to notice your bandmate, your brother, for god's sake fading away, heartbroken and miserable." Tae broke down once again, sinking to the floor, body shaking with heart-breaking sobs. Jin wrapped his arms around his boyfriend to comfort the younger, only succeeding in making him cry harder.

"Sir," Joon choked. "It was never our intention for him to feel that way."

"I don't give a damn about your intentions. I'm putting out a statement postponing the comeback indefinitely due to sudden illness." The group nodded. "In the meantime, you need to fix this mess somehow. You need to show Jimin just how much you do love him!"

"How?" JK asked.

"That's something you have to figure out for yourself." Bang P.D. snapped at the maknae before storming off.

"What are we going to do?" Hobi looked to Joon for answers.

"I have no idea," the leader shook his head. "This feels like a nightmare."

"How do you show someone you love them?" Tae sobbed. "Will he even believe us if we try?"

"Are you saying we shouldn't even try?" Suga snapped at the younger.

"No! That's not what I meant," Tae shook his head.

"Calm down, Suga," Joon stepped between the two members. "We have enough to deal with without you two at each other's throats."

"Well, if Tae wouldn't ask such stupid questions, I wouldn't be pissed off," Suga huffed.

"Babe, why don't we go and get some fresh air," Hobi moved him toward the elevator. "We'll be back, but call me if there are any changes." Joon nodded.

"I'm gonna go talk to Ji-hoon," Joon sighed. "Why don't you guys go get something to eat. I'll try to get them to let us stay the night. I don't feel right leaving Jimin alone."

"Call me..." Jin trailed off. Had it really come to this? They were all waiting for the other shoe to drop.

"Just go; I'll keep you informed." Joon left the three standing in the hall as he walked back to Jimin's room.
