RM stood outside the door and heard the end of Ji-hoon and Jimin's conversation. Rage boiled in RM; how were they supposed to make it up to Jimin if Ji-hoon kept telling him why he should forgive them at all. Would he be waiting for each of them to screw up to do the same thing he'd just done to Tae? One thing was clear; RM would be watching their manager much more closely from now on.

"Sorry about that," RM said as he walked into Jimin's room. "I don't know why he acted out that way. I'll be talking to him later at home."

"Thank you, Namjoon-ssi." Jimin nodded politely.

"Hopefully, he won't act like a rabid dog next time he tries to visit," Ji-hoon muttered.

"Look here," Joon started.

"Ji-hoon-hyung, please don't. This wasn't Namjoon-ssi's fault. Can we just watch the movie?"

"Of course, Jiminie, why don't you sit here with me?" Ji-hoon pulled the loveseat closer to the bed and helped the younger to sit. "This way, you can rest from laying in bed all the time."

"Thank you, hyung," Jimin smiled, and RM's heart broke to see the happy little crescents appear in place of Jimin's eyes. Before RM could move, Ji-hoon sat with Jimin in the love seat, leaving RM to sit in a chair next to the manager. There would be little to no opportunity to talk to Jimin during the movie. But on the bright side, at least he would be in the same room as their beloved Chimchim.

"Okay, lights out and let the show begin." RM flipped the light switch, and Jimin started the movie using the bedside remote. For almost two hours RM sat, teeth clenched, watching Ji-hoon cuddle with Jimin. Every time something funny happened, he would watch as Jimin was pulled closer to the manager's side. Yes, Jimin had a right to spend time with whoever he wanted, but RM really thought he was going to give them a chance. Maybe instead, this was his way of punishing them for how they'd treated him and made him feel.

"Well, I hope you enjoyed the movie," RM said after the credits ended. He turned on the light in the bathroom so as not to blind them all.

"Oh, yes, I loved it!" Jimin all but squealed happily.

"I'm glad, Jimin," RM smiled. "I um, well, I guess I'll be going now."

"Yes, good idea," Ji-hoon interrupted. "Jiminie needs his rest." He moved between Jimin and RM.

"Right," RM snarled. "See you, Jimin." RM turned on his heel and quickly left the room. Jimin stared in disbelief at Ji-hoon, who was happily fluffing Jimin's pillows and tucking the younger into a makeshift cocoon.

"I'm going to go pick up lunch for us." Jihoon smiled at Jimin. "Rest up, and I'll be back soon." Ji-hoon was out of the room before Jimin could speak. Why had Ji-hoon been so rude to RM? His leader hadn't done anything wrong. At least not today. It was all very odd.

-----

"Namjoon!" Jihoon ran down the hall trying to reach RM before he made it into the elevator. RM froze at the sound of Ji-hoon's voice. His first thought was to ignore the manager and just go home, but he didn't. Slowly, RM turned to see Ji-hoon's panicked face. RM's heart dropped. Had something happened to Jimin in the moments since he'd left the room?

"Is something wrong?" he grabbed the front of Jihoon's shirt.

"No, no!" Ji-hoon shook his head, grinning at RM. "Namjoon-ah, I'm so sorry to have acted in such a manner, but I had to." RM frowned at the manager.

"What do you mean you had to?"

"Well, you see," Ji-hoon started. "I got an idea earlier when Tae had his outburst. I didn't say anything then because I wanted to see if it would work."

"I heard what you said about Tae," RM growled through gritted teeth. "How dare you? We've all trusted you, and now you want to drive a toxic wedge between us?"

"Not at all!" Ji-hoon interrupted. "That wasn't why I said what I did about Tae. If you were listening, then you heard Jimin's response to all my accusations."

"I did," RM nodded, still angry.

"Well?" Ji-hoon looked at him puzzled. "Don't you see?"

"Ji-hoon-hyung, if you have something to say them, please speak clearly. I don't have time to play games with you. Spit it out, or I'm out of here."

"Jimin hasn't given up on you guys!" Ji-hoon almost cheered. "Walk with me so I can get Jimin some lunch, and we can talk along the way."

-----

Suga arrived back at the BTS house with a hysterical Tae who had been in such a state that he couldn't even explain what had happened. When he had finally calmed down enough to talk, he was so exhausted that he'd fallen asleep in Hobi's arms. Jin brought the group some tea.

"Suga," Jin started. "Did Joonie tell you anything?" Suga shook his head.

"When I got there, Joon was holding TaeTae, but he told me to bring him home so he could explain it all himself. The only problem was that he was in hysterics the whole way home, and well now..." he motioned to the sleeping Tae.

"Guess we just have to wait for him to wake up to find out what happened." And wait, they did. For almost an hour and a half, the man slept. When he awoke, it was all Hobi could do to keep him from dissolving back into the teary mess he'd been earlier.

"Now, Taebear, please calmly tell us what happened at the hospital." JIn finally prodded Tae.

"Well, we got there, and Ji-hoon was there too. I didn't think it was fair for him to be there when we were trying to win Jimin back. But when I started messing around with Jimin, he got all pissy. So I called him a cry baby."

"Tae," Jin groaned. "You didn't!"

"I did too!" Tae pouted. "He was being a cry baby. But then Joonie-hyung said I can't talk to Jiminie-hyung like I used to until he forgives me! So how am I supposed to get him to forgive me if I can't spend time with him?" Jin frowned. Something was off. Why wouldn't Joon defend Tae? Sure the younger could be a bit impulsive, but it must have been strange having their manager intruding on their time with Jimin. He was going to have a talk with RM as soon as he got home.
