Chim locked the door behind him and curled up on his bed. He finally understood. The other six were in a relationship, but there was no room for him in it. He'd had a secret crush on the members, but he set them aside as they paired off. He'd been kept in the dark about the relationship the others enjoyed. It was a secret because he was not seen as a romantic interest. And how could he be? Everyone else was special, talented, and amazing. He was none of those things.

All the lip service of the past months was just that. Lip service. Words that meant nothing at all. Words spoken to keep him happy and working with the group. There wouldn't be a repeat of the last time, he wouldn't leave the Bangtan House, but he was done trying to be worthy of their love. He would never be good enough.

"Chimmy?" Suga knocked on Jimin's bedroom door.

"Can you please give me some space right now?" Jimin called back.

"Chim, I need to explain something to you. Actually," Suga stopped and looked behind him at the other men. "We all have something to explain.

"I can't right now," Jimin sniffled. Tae pushed forward and leaned against the door.

"Chim, remember what happened the last time we had a breakdown in communication?" Jimin sighed. Why, of all times, did Tae have to make sense now? But he wasn't going to give in so easy.

"This time, it wasn't my fault; I wasn't the one keeping secrets and not communicating. Just leave me alone, please," Jimin sobbed and buried his face in his pillow.

"Fuck, he is really pissed off, isn't he?" JK asked Tae.

"Wouldn't you be?" Tae snapped. "We betrayed him in the worst possible way. We never even gave him a chance to accept or reject us. We did it for him. God, I'm such a horrible soulmate." Tae broke down and cried.

"Don't do that to yourself!" Hobi embraced the younger.

"Don't, just don't," Tae sobbed and pushed Hobi away from him. Stumbling like a drunk man, Tae went down the hall and locked himself in the bathroom. The others all looked at each other helpless. This was not how any of them had expected this to turn out.

-----

Several hours had passed, and Jimin still wouldn't come out of his room. No matter who attempted to coax him out, the answer remained the same.

"I just need some space."

Tae wasn't doing much better either, but at least Suga had managed to get him to come out of the bathroom and join them in the living room.

"He hates me," Tae sniffled.

"He doesn't hate you," Joon shook his head. "He is just hurting right now."

"How can we fix it if he won't even come out?" JK asked.

"Well, I suppose-" A knock at the door interrupted Joon.

"I got it!" Jin shrieked. "Bang P.D.-nim, how are you?"

"Namjoon-ah, get over here!" all six members of BTS froze. None of them had ever seen Bang P.D. so angry.

"Yes, sir?" Joon bowed deeply.

"How is it that every time I turn around, you are calling me with yet another issue with Park Jimin?"

"Sir, this time, it was just a misunderstanding." Joon tried to explain.

"You tell me Jimin has been locked in his room for the past three hours, and it is just a misunderstanding?" Bang P.D. roared. "Let me speak to him."

"But sir," Yoongi started. Bang P.D. glared at him, and Yoongi shut his mouth and stood behind Joon.

"Jimin," Bang P.D. called through the door.
