Chapter 16: Egoist

Sooyoung POV:

I sat on the dirty concrete breathless. Blood dripped from my nose as I tried to catch my breath. My school shirt was torn and had dirt all over. Just great! I looked down at my hands, nice they were covered in cuts and scrapes.

 I heard a group of students yelling in the distance. I moved behind a few trash bags. The smell was putrid back here! It was beginning to make me feel sick.

Heavy quick footsteps approached the alleyway and that's when I lost it. I hurled and felt my lunch come back up and it spilled all over the ground with a loud splat. Suddenly the footsteps stopped and a boy peeked into the alleyway.

We made eye contact and his eyes widened. He looked furious as he called out to his friends.

"OVER HERE!!" he waited for the group to catch up

"Finally, you're going to get what you deserve!" The guy wiped the blood from his lip

The girls were all scratched up as well as the guys. I wouldn't call myself a fighter, but if it comes down to it you better run.

They all began to close in on me. I had nowhere to run anymore. One of the girls grabbed a plastic cup and threw it my way. I ducked and she missed. I laughed.

"Shut up! You're going to die!" The girl angrily yelled

I decided I wanted to have a bit of fun. I slowly put my hands up and sighed in defeat. 

"Alright I'll let you guys do what you came here for but first I need to just-"

I quickly bent down and scooped up some of my vomit and chucked it at the group of students. They all got hit by the nasty consistency and some began to gag while others screamed. 

"You sick fuck!" The leader ran over to me and raised his fist

I threw my hands in front of me to block the hit, but the impact never came.

I opened my eye and noticed all of them gazing towards the sky in horror. I looked up and saw a dumpster floating in the air. One of the boys shrieked in fear.

"WHAT THE FUCK! YOU FREAK!" He dashed out of the alleyway leaving the rest behind

I brought my hands back down and the dumpster dropped with a loud bang. The remaining students began to run as fast as they could. I felt my heart racing. 

"What the fuck did I just do?!" My hands began to tremble

The floor looked like a hangout area. There was a small area with a couch, vending machines, and air hockey, and much more cool stuff.

I jogged over and threw myself on a couch. 

"Ah wow! This is comfortable! Come try it out!" I motioned for her to come here

"I'm good...uh I think we should go back Sooyoung. This place is starting to give me the creeps"

I looked at Chaewon "What? You're scared? You have superpowers... nothing can harm you" I teased 

All of a sudden I saw a dark figure swiftly zoom across the hallway. I stood up. 

"Hey what the hell was that! Did you see that?" I pointed down the hall

"Stop it! You're not funny at all!" Chaewon whined

"No really! I'm not lying! You didn't see that?!" I felt my heart begin to beat quicker

I'm not going to lie... I was starting to freak out.

I remembered I have telekinesis or whatever the guy said. Still, I was not feeling confident enough to go check it out, but I decided against my own fear.
