Wilbur was standing on the back porch of his small shack his son Fundy was sitting on the porch swing. reading a book Fundy was 15 now Wilbur tried to give him the best life possible although he was gone doing jobs most of the time.

he would always bring books back for Fundy to read and enjoy bringing him trinkets from clients.

he learned dutch and often communicated with Fundy with it. he moved a pretty long distance from Phil and the other living right next to the barry field that Philza visited each summer. Fundy would go out and pick the barriers each Saturday.

Fundy was quiet and reserved spending most of his time in his room reading or drawing sunsets. Wilbur taught him some things but never put him into school. like he taught him how to read and math but never did much more than that.

one day Fundy out of the blue asked.

"whose my Mom?"

Wilbur tore his eyes from the doe he was watching in the forest meeting his son's eyes.

"w-what?"

"my mom?"

Wilbur rubbed the back of his head walking over to Fundy he didn't want to tell Fundy that his mother felt trapped with him. so instead he lied.

"your mother...was...a...Salmon!"

Fundy tilted his head to the side flicking his ears

"A Salmon?"

"YEP! Sally the Salmon she was a fast swimmer and everything!"

Fundys eyes widened his cheeks turning a pinkish color.

"I'm part fish!"

his tail wagging back and forth Wilbur laughed placing his hands on Fundys shoulders.

"yeah son you are"

Sally was standing at the edge of her boat Sally had shorter hair that was dyed blue at the ends she was wearing a pirates outfit. with a large hat that shielded her from the sun, she had been out on the sea for so long land was barely even a concept for her.

"Hi darling"

Aukai came up behind Sally kissing her cheek.

"how's Puffy?"

"shes the same as she was five minutes ago darling"

Sally nodded shaking her head.

"I'm sorry it is just...ugh never mind did you get that book?"

Aukai sighed pulling a book out of her trench coat pocket handing it to her Sally took it opening it.

he read about her son...her...son?

"I'm sorry this is the wrong one I had a daughter"

Ankai shook her head pointing to some words on a page.

"No you have a son"

Sally kept reading she had yearned to know about her child so Ankai hired someone to gather info on them.

"This is all just..."

Sally closed the book shaking her head.

"I wasn't there for...him...for when he...discovered himself...for when he..."

Sally sighed deeply closing the book tossing the book to Ankai.

"I never wanna see that book again"

Ankai placed her hand on her wife's shoulder.

"Sally.."

"GET...rid of it..."

Ankai sighed and did what she said while Sally crumbled to the ground crying...
