"young lord Mishka" a young man with bright golden hair stopped as a voice called him out. With a smile on his lips, he turned to a greet a familiar woman with red hair.
"lady rose" he said.
"a pleasant day to you, my lord" lady rose curtsied gracefully.
"likewise."
"your health? I've heard you were bedridden after Lady Janellas wedding?"
"yes, its a shame i was not able to see her off" he replied with a polite smile and unexpressive eyes. lady rose slowly nodded.
"and lady Janella, how has she been? its a shame for her to have been married to Duke Coventry, I've heard rumor's though that the duke has not even once visited Lady janella. i wonder how she-"
"unfortunately i haven't been in touch with my sister." He said cutting of lady rose before she even finished.
"oh..oh yes, of course, it seemed i have kept you, my lord" lady rose said, taken aback by the golden haired man.
" no, not at all. have a good day, lady rose." the golden haired man bowed and walked away. His smile immediately dropping from his face and his green eyes the same ice cold when faced away from lady rose. Lady rose watched the golden haired man ride the green carriage with a golden emblem of house Mishka.
Did the youngest child of Viscount Mishka always look like that?
lady Rose had only seen Jaey at partys hosted by the Royal family, he had never attended anything other than that. lady Rose and many other women would watch Jaey but they were to afraid and hesitant to approach him or talk to him. He always had a calm expression and polite smile but the Jaey she talked to today was very different from the initial impression she had on him. But then again, she was never personally close to the young lord or the lady of Mishka.
lady Rose shivered when she remembered the chilling look the young lord gave her when she spoke out of line.
"come to think of it, wasn't he sick? i heard there was no cure" lady rose muttered to herself but shrugged it off. Well if he was feeling better then, that was something to be happy about.
"@#$!%^&" almost every curse word in the dictionary spilled out the lips of the golden haired man, contrasting the soft and mellow expression on his face. from outside the carriage the coachman sighed and furrowed his brows.
the golden haired man, who everyone thought was Jaey, was actually Janella dressed as Jaey. Janella held her face in her hands before releasing a deep breath and leaned into her seat before closing her eyes, to calm the frustration and anger in her chest.
"What should we do, master?" Albert asked Jaey as he poured tea in Jaeys cup, who was reading a book. "we wait." Jaey answered preoccupied. Albert stood still and watched the smoke from Jaeys cup of tea dance and slowly disperse into the air.
for the past three months, Jaey and him did nothing but wait. At first Jaey was nothing but nervous. Every time someone would knock on his door or just even look at him, he would suddenly tense up and his hands would profusely sweat. But as days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months he had somehow relaxed though, his nervousness was replaced with anxiousness.
"master, i shall refill the refreshments." The door closed and Jaey lowered the book he was reading down on his lap. The orange tint of the setting sun painted his room the same shade of orange and red.
The moon had begun to rise but just like any other day, Jaey was unable to do anything but sit in his room quietly and go on for walks. It was the same routine for the last 3 months.
