I looked at Pan with a cocked eyebrow.

"Girlfriend?"

He looked at the ground and blushed. "Well I just assumed with what you told me that we were a thing," he trailed off.

"I'm surprised you even know what a thing is," I said between laughs.

"I do so, I'm not totally cut off from the world. I know about the internets," he muttered.

I facepalmed dramatically. "On another note, what the hell just happened? Where the hell did John just go?" I asked.

"Honestly, I don't care." said Peter in a nonchalant tone.

"John got his magic from Ma way back when and then she took him back? That's weird." I thought aloud.

I shrugged. What am I going to do? I mean he's clearly crazy but what else can I do?

I sat down and rested my chin on my hands. I thought back to when Ma introduced herself. She called herself Mater Dei. I must look it up later. It's probably latin...

Pan's voice interrupted my thoughts. "You know," he said, taking a step towards me. "You never finished what you were going to say before we were so rudely interrupted." Again he took a step towards me.

"Jo," he said crouching down so were at equal eye-level. "I love you."

I looked at him smiling. "I love you too," I answered back.

He put his hand on the back of my head and pulled me in for a kiss. The moment our lips touched, a blast of air was pushed out from our bodies. We pulled apart to look around as the air traveled out, causing flowers to start growing.

We stood up to see what was happening, but all we saw were all the plants growing quicker and fuller than ever before. After a minute, the sound of rushing wind ceased. There were flowers all around, blooming in different colors and types.

I gestured to everything around us. "Was this because of us?" I asked.

Pan shrugged. "It must be because we accepted each other. The prophecy came true."

"Wow," I said. Who knew a kiss would cause a garden to explode into Neverland?

I looked at Peter. "What do we do now?" I asked.

"I guess make sure everything is ok and then we can make our way home," he answered.

"So where first? We need to check on the fairies, Indians, and the Lost Boys."

"I guess we just follow that order."

With that, we walked hand in hand to the fairy tree. On our way there, I noticed that there were more birds than ever in Neverland. There was noises come from all across the land from the animals and birds. It was like life returned to the land.

We finally made it to the fairy tree after a walk of comfortable silence. We were too busy observing our new surroundings to make conversation.

The moment we walked into the enclave, all the fairies stopped and cheered. Their colors were more vibrant and the tree in the center seemed to have grown taller since just hours before.

Ma flew up to us through the crowd of fairies. "Thank you. Everything is better than it has ever been."

Before she could fly away, I asked "What did you do with John?"

"Oh honey, don't worry about him. He's fine," she said waving her hand dismissively. With that she flew away, her sparkling blue skirt bouncing as she left.

Acknowledging the fact everything was fine there, we walked up to the Indian camp. As we made our way to the top of the mountain, I spotted the first deer I had ever seen on the island.

"Gosh, this plays was lifeless before this," I thought aloud.

Peter snorted. "Thanks."

"Oh no, I didn't mean it offensively-"

"No, it's fine. This place was very dismal before you," he said before kissing my cheek.

I blushed the whole way up to the camp, and when we finally arrived, I noticed the Indians were dancing around the fire and chanting in a language I didn't recognize.

There was one man standing near the entrance of the camp so we walked over to him and Pan asked "What's going on?"

The man grunted. "Tigerlilly has left us," he responded.

I gasped. "She brought up that she was going to go once time officially restarted but I didn't realize it was so soon," I muttered.

The man shrugged. "She knew it was coming. She wanted us to celebrate her death, and that's what we are doing."

"That's great."

We stayed a couple more minutes to pay our respects before heading back to camp. By the time we got there, all the lost boys were back near the campfire and awaiting instructions.

"As you can see," Pan said to them. "Time had begun again in Neverland, that means we will all start growing older now. I am heading back to Jo's world with her, and I advise you all come with us. If you stay here, there is no guarantee that you will be able to survive now that there is also new life here."

The boys nodded at Pan's little speech. I stood up and began talking. "Please come back with us. You'll find a home and you will grow up to do better things than sitting around a fire all day for the rest of eternity. So are you all in?" I asked.

There was a chorus of yes's and no response from Felix.

I walked up to him as Pan spoke with all the other boys.

"You can come back with us. You're too old for foster care but I'm sure you can work until you can get a house or apartment. Please come back with us." I pleaded. I didn't like him, but leaving him here alone is just cruel.

He nodded his head. "There's nothing left for me here now. There's nothing else I can do."

I gaped at his easy agreement to coming with us.

"Well alright. Great!"

Pan then came over and grabbed my hand.

"Let's go home," he said.

I nodded my head.

"Let's go home."
