CHAPTER 62

LISA's POV

"Congratulations!" I have been promoted that's why we are celebrating in my office. "Where's Jungkook by the way?" someone asked and exactly my door opens.

I saw Jungkook with bouquet of flowers and a cake. I heard my friends are squealing and shouting that makes me feel embarrassed.

He walk closer to me and gave me the flowers. "Thank you" I said as I accepted the flowers while my friends open the cake.

He pull me for a hug and whispered something.

"Congrats, I'm so proud of you"

I just smiled and hug him back with my free hand. He kissed my cheeks before he pull away.

"Lisa! Blow your candles!" they sang me a congratulatory song while I blow the candles.

Someone cleared his throat and I saw my Dad near at the door. "Are you guys celebrating without me?" my dad said and I just giggled before I walk towards him for a hug.

"A flowers? From?" I averted my eyes to Jungkook that makes the others look at him too. "Ahh" my dad said in realization and pat my head.

"Do a great job and your mom and I will be spending time more. You don't know maybe you will have a younger sibling"

"Dad" I warned because they are now too old for that. "Just kidding. Enjoy, I'm now going" my Dad kissed the top of my head and bid goodbye to my friends before he walks away.

"Want to go lunch together?" Jungkook asked and I nodded. "Sure" I answered.

We sneakily go outside my office because I don't want them to come with us. "Let's just stop by my office. I need to get something" he said and I just nod in response as I walk in to his car.

I got in to his office and just sat down on the couch. "Stay there" I just nod my head and he walk out from his office, leaving me here.

I stand up and look around. It looks classy and modern. I walk towards his table and the papers are organized on one side. I saw something that caught my eyes and I was about to get it when someone shouted.

"Sir!" someone called out that makes me startled and make the coffee spilled on his papers. "Oh my gosh!" I quickly put away the cup and panicked as I don't know what to do.

"Oh no! That's a 1 month work Ms. Lisa" his assistant said and I just stand back as she do it herself. "I'm so sorry. I just-" I was close to crying when someone goes in.

"What's going on here?" my hands are fidgeting because I'm so scared of how he will react. "I-I'm so sorry love. I didn't mean to" I put down my head because I'm so disappointed at myself.
