Kirishima slowly made his way from the classroom, his body instinctively waiting for everyone else. The walk to the cafeteria was quiet for once, everyone in deep thought.A lifeline? Someone to help with- Kirishima's face involuntarily flushes red as thoughts fill his mind- sexual relief? Kirishima covers the bottom of his face, looking to the side. He couldn't help but think about the past couple of months, how he's been getting distracted and not being able to focus. Copious amounts of wet dreams and even after jacking off, he still feels the same.
Maybe this is something I need.
But then again, this was something he's never done before. It was definitely something he thought about, but even his fantasies aren't with people he knows...well not that often. He's never thought about someone like that. He doesn't know how he would react if someone came up and offered it to him. He'd have to think about them in a sexual way if they did that.
Isn't that unmanly to think of someone like that?
No, this was literally what they are training to do. They want to be a 'lifeline' just as much as Kirishima wants to be a hero. They want him to think of them like that, there was nothing wrong with it. The lady said they'd be there for the class at any time. Kirishima frowns, recently he's been feeling frustrated at the most inconvenient times of the day, like training or class. What would they do then?
Would I even be good enough for them?
Kirishima had never done anything like this before, what if he couldn't please them? That was if they even want him in the first place. What if they reject the class because they found him boring? Or worse, what if they join the class but ignore him? Eijiro instantly starts berating himself internally, that was selfish of him to think.
He hopes that even if the one chosen to be their lifeline hates him, which is a very good possibility, that they at least chose to join 1A and satisfy the rest of the class.
I probably don't deserve them anyway.
"Shitty hair, grab a tray."
"Huh?" A hand slaps him on the back, snapping him out of his trance. Looking back in a startle he sees Kaminari with an annoyed Bakugo behind him. Denki nods towards the trays on his right.
"Grab a tray man, you're holding up the line."
"Sorry!" Kirishima is quick to apologise to all those behind him, swiftly grabbing a tray and moving on.
When did we get in the cafeteria?
______
The rest of the day his mind was filled with different scenarios and possibilities with this whole lifeline situation. So much so that he couldn't focus on any of his classes. Should he say yes? Was there any point when they were going to reject him anyways?
A little voice in his head was telling him they could like him, but he doesn't want to get his hopes up.
Weighing out the pros and cons, Kirishima did some research in his maths period and found a lot of information on it. Mainly reading experiences about them, though for some he had to close out of immediately with a red face, discretely checking if anyone saw him.
So they were up for anything. Anything.
The image of someone in his costume tied up to his bed flashes in his mind though he's quick to slap it away as soon as it registers. Kirishima's face goes as red as his hair and he clenches his fists under his desk.
