Class 1As designated redhead walzed into their last class of the day, which just to happened to be math. His body felt heavy with dread as he passed the doorway, but the thought of calling Akira that afternoon was enough to keep him going.

He was going to focus really hard this lesson so he could come of as smart to them. He really wanted to impress them , so he was a little bit nervous about having a study session, especially when it came to maths. It was his worst subject, so it was going to be quite embarrassing when he asks them all these questions. He didn't want to seem dumb.

He took his seat, playing nervously with his fingers, mind running with different scenarios that could happen tonight. Turning to face Bakugo, he opened his mouth.

"Hey Bakubro, do you-" Kirishima stopped, rubbing the back of his neck, embarrassed he was actually going to ask that to his friend.

Katsuki raises an eyebrow at him, scowling in his usual manner, "what shitty hair?"

Laughing and waving a dismissive hand, Kirhsima shakes his head.

Do you think Akira will find me dumb?

"Don't worry about it, I was just going to ask something about last lesson." Kirishima didn't want his closest friend to think he was weird. He personally thought that sharing emotion with friends was super manly, but him and Bakugo never had that type of friendship.

Katsuki didn't seem like the type of person to want to hear about his feelings. If he asked that he would probably scoff at him and say something like "how the fuck would I know shitty hair? Maybe focus properly in maths lessons from now on." Needless to say that wasn't exactly what Kirishima wanted to hear right now. Especially when his stomach was churning and flipping in nervousness.

The angry blonde's eyebrow rose further at the redheads response. "Well what is it then? Your dumbass probably needs all the help it can get."

Eijiro let out another chuckle, though he cringes at how you can hear the nervousness in this one. "Nah bro seriously, it's all good."

Katsuki scoffed and turned forwards again as Kirishima looked down at his table, trying to think about something he could say to Akira to impress her. He didn't see the way his friend glanced at him again out the corner of his eye, mouth turned down with worry. It wasn't often he heard Kirishima sound scared, he wanted to at least know what was going on.

But he was Katsuki Bakugo. He couldn't say such things out loud, and once again he cursed himself for being such an asshole. He wasn't good with words, he prefers to show things through actions. He couldn't just go up to Kirishima and tell him that he was there for him, no matter what. That didn't change the fact that it was true, and although Bakugo knew he wouldn't be able to give the best advice, he still wished he was good enough for his best friend to open up to him.

Everyone else started to file into the classroom, sitting in their seats and chatting with each other. Kirishima engaged in conversation with Denki, specifically about their call tonight.

"I dibs calling them on my phone." Denki said as soon as he sat down.

Kirhsima laughed and clapped a firm hand on his shoulder, smiling brightly. "Of course bro, I don't mind as long as I get to be there."

Denki nodded enthusiastically, "man I'm so excited, aren't they just so cool. I think the whole lifeline thing in general is just so cool!"

Kirhsima also nods, agreeing with his energetic friend. "Yeah, and I'm super happy that it's not only a-" a slight blush overtakes his cheeks, "-sex thing. The fact that they're even helping us with stuff like maths just makes me super happy ya know?" A blinding smile crosses over Eijiros face. Anyone could see how happy he was about the fact they cared about things like his grades.
