TODOROKI

Todoroki woke up early, it was Friday, so two days after the call with Akira. He really didn't know how to feel about the whole lifeline thing. He understood what it was for, though he himself didn't think it was a necessity.

Sure, he got horny sometimes. But he always had lube and tissues in his bedside table draw, and could deal with it himself. He was never particularly satisfied, though it never negatively affected him either. He was quite happy to stick to masturbating, it worked and in his mind, having someone like Akira would just be a big distraction. Then again, if she was trained to help him become a hero he wasn't opposed.

He didn't say much during the call Wednesday night, frankly because he didn't really care. That was the perfect way to summarize how he felt about the program, he just didn't care. He didn't care that it was more than sex, he didn't care that it was sex in the first place.

He didn't care about having a 'girlfriend' and he didn't care about sharing with the rest if the class. He just wanted to become a hero. He doesn't think he'll get close to her either, he isn't one to open up, he isn't crazy about physical affection, he isn't good at any of that. And he doesn't want to be.

It was lunch time and like normal, he was sat at their usual table with the rest of the Dekusquad, who were all talking about the certain lifeline that had barely crossed the boys mind all week.

"I'm just curious as to how it will work? Like, Kacchan sharing something?.. I just hope it has a positive impact."

Iida purses his lips as he nods his head at Midoriya's comment. "Yes, Bakugo is not the type to share things as it is, much less someone. Though he agreed to the terms so all we can do is hope for the best."

Midoriya's eyes suddenly start to sparkle. "Huh! I wonder what her quirk is?!"

Ochaco visibly brightens up, waving her hands around as she tries to chew her mouthful of food as fast as she can. The way her eyes are wide and excited, high pitched humming sounds coming from her mouth.

He'd heard many people in other classes, students in the hallway, even upperclassmen (which Todoroki found quite concerning) talk about his female friend in both romantic and sexual ways. He never saw what they saw, Uraraka was his friend after all, he never saw her in that way. He didn't understand- but people were entitled to their own opinion.

Though in that moment he got a glimpse of what everyone else saw in her, she was... cute. In the most platonic way possible.

She swallows and then claps her hand repeatedly over Midoriya's. "That's so true! What if she helps us train and stuff when the introductory process is over?"

The freckled boy's eyes widen as he pulls out a notebook from his book bag. It's got a green cover with a golden hero engraved in the middle. After learning about his obsession with heroes and how his last notebook got ruined because of Bakugo in middle school, his three friends saved up to buy him a very good quality book for his next hero journal.

He insisted to the others he would be able to pay for it himself with no trouble, but they insisted they wanted to pay it evenly. The boy was ecstatic when they gave it to him the next homeroom. It was a pretty big journal, and he'd already filled it up half way.

He mutters quietly to himself, saying how he needed to ask her that night about it.

"That's if she ends up staying at our dorms, it would be a bit much to ask of her if she didn't." Iida speaks up.

Todoroki hums quietly while eating his soba. Bakugo had made it a few nights ago, and while everyone else would have it as leftovers when Bakugo refused to cook, Todoroki ate it for lunch and dinner.

If Akira doesn't end up staying in the dorms then it would be almost an hour drive to come help them train every night. Midoriya had done all his research about the school, so Todoroki knew by relation. She will have her own classes and everything, there was no way she'd be able to help train all the time.

"Well... are you guys going to say yes to her staying with us?" Ochaco asks quietly.

Midoriya is still muttering while taking down some final notes so she turns her head to Iida with curious eyes.

Iida clears his throat, a slight blush on his face. "Well, I think it would be beneficial for the whole class if she was to be in close vicinity." He fixes his glasses, looking away to hide the redness on his face.

At that moment Midoriya looks up, seeing Iida flustered he turns to Tokoroki with a curious gaze and when they lock eyes, he tilts his head like a puppy. Now he didn't particularly understand how people were so interested in Ochaco, but he also couldn't understand how people didn't chase after Izuku.

He was very cute. All the time. Now Todoroki won't say he has a crush on him, no it isn't that. But he can't help but admire his friend sometimes.

Why didn't people talk about Midoriya in the hallways, I think he's more attractive than Uraraka.

"They're asking if you'd let Akira stay in the dorms when the opportunity arises." Todoroki answers his friends silent question in a calm voice.

Izuku nods and purses his lips. "It would depend, because then she'd be taken away from her classes at her school and I wouldn't want to make it difficult for her. Also, we'd be at our classes all day, and I wouldn't want her to get lonely in the dorms by herself."

Uraraka frowns. "That is a good point Deku-kun." She thinks for a couple more seconds before shaking off Midoriya's comment, instead turning to the teen beside her. "What about you Todoroki-kun? Would you want her to stay here?"

Said boy glances at her briefly before turning back to his cold soba, shrugging. An unsatisfied hum escapes the girl at his lack of response.

"Well? That's not particularly an answer Todoroki-kun." She pouts at him.

Again, he is reminded why people find her so endearing. "I don't mind."

"Huh? What do you mean-"

"You don't mind? What do you mean you don't mind?" Uraraka cuts Midoriya off, though he doesn't seem to care that much as he just looks at his taller friend expectantly.

He shrugs. "I don't mind. I'm not particularly invested in this program. I don't really care what happens either way."

"You don't- you don't care?" Iida looks at him with a shocked expression, placing down his fork.

"How can you not care about something like this Todoroki-kun?" Midoriya asks. He says it softly, like he's more curious about the matter than judgy.

He just shrugs in answer and goes back to eating, listening to his friends ramble about how Akira seems nice, and how they think she'll be fun to hang around. Like the past few days, Todoroki just watches, not knowing what to say.

"Well I for one would want her to stay. Of course it's up to her and we'll have to ask her about it. But I think that would be so fun!" Uraraka squeals with a dreamy smile on her face.

Todoroki just watches, nodding along.
