A month. A whole month you've been working for Mr Kambe and you were as shocked as everybody else. People in your work place started speaking to you and asking to sit with you for lunch because you were the first assistant to last this long.
You were so proud of yourself for making so much money a week, that you even started looking for new apartments. You also started taking driving lessons after you past your theory test.
You didn't think that you would be able to make it this far in a month. You didn't think that you would still have motivation to carry on fighting but here you are. Every time you look at your bank account you don't cry, you've finally made it you have finally made yourself proud.
You were also pretty excited to go to New York in a couple of days. Of course it's only for business and you and Mr Kambe will probably only be there for a few days but that's still something. You had something to look forward to.
Suzue hasn't really tried anything with you. You assumed that she gave up since you have found a solution to everything she has tried to do to you. You still wanted to expose the bitch and tell Daisuke that she was the one that spilt his coffee on the table, she was the one that locked you in his office the night of fashion show.
But it was too late. You couldn't expose her a month after everything happened, people would probably think you were lying just to get rid of her when it's really the other way around.
You may be over exaggerating but after that little 'thank you' encounter you had with Mr Kambe you felt like he has been more...nicer to you? He wasn't snappier, much more calmer and patient with you and you took that into consideration that maybe Kato was right. Maybe Mr Kambe did have another side that he never showed to everyone.
