Tw: Self-Harm and abuse?

Karl's pov June 1

My phone was ringing which was strange no one called me unless it was my friends but we were all together.

"Hello?" I was cautious "WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU BOY!" I heard my dad scream into the phone "I-I'm so sorry sir I'm staying with my friends for the summer." Wow, he doesn't care it took him one month to realize you were missing. "I NEVER GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO GO!" I was scared out of my mind. Tears trickled down my face "I'm sorry sir I'll send you money or whatever you need just please let me stay." I heard something slam on the other side "Fine. Send me 1000$ and a case of beer." I nodded in fear "Alright I'll do that as soon as possible." He hung up without a word. I sat in silence and sent the money. All I could hear was the buzzing of the ceiling fan and people laughing downstairs. I could smell bacon and eggs and I was all alone upstairs. Go to the blade. They won't care. You're pathetic crying alone on the floor of your bedroom. No one is gonna come and help you. I was pulled out of my thoughts by a harsh knocking on the door. I sprinted to the bathroom in fear. Dad was the only one who knocked like that. I didn't know anyone else that would. "Karl?" I didn't even realize what I was doing till I felt the blood rush down my arms. Someone knocked again on the bathroom door. "Karl are you alright?" I didn't answer for fear of someone hearing me. "I'm coming in." Crap I didn't think this through. It was Eret they poked their head around the door and gasped. "Karl?" They came over to where I was sitting on the ground sitting next to me and they grabbed my hand. "Can I?" I only nodded and looked down at the floor in embarrassment and shame. "I'm sorry I didn't want anyone to worry. I'm sorry." They pulled me into a hug "Hey you don't need to say you're sorry. You didn't want anyone to worry about you and that's alright but please talk to someone. It can be me, Sapnap, or even Quackity. They might be worried but we're all here for you." I nodded as they stood up grabbing bandages. "Is it alright if I bandage you up at least?" I hummed in response tears were still streaming down my face but Eret's presence was oddly relaxing. "Anyway the reason I came up here was to ask if you wanted to join us for breakfast?" I sighed "Yeah I guess." They grabbed my hand pulling me downstairs and down to the couch sitting me down. Promptly leaving and returning with a plate of food "Thank you" I said looking at the floor. They nodded sitting next to Niki. Quackity looked up from his phone next to me "What took you so long?" I answered the question sorta truthfully "I had to take a phone call." I won't tell him yet I started picking at my food although I lost all my appetite after this morning. I ate it anyway knowing that I'd need it in my system in case I needed energy for something. As if on cue Tommy and Tubbo bounded down the stairs and slid into the living room followed by an exhausted Wilbur who looked half asleep. Tubbo and Tommy looked at each other nodded and yelled "CAN WE GO TO THE BEACH TODAY!" I flinched at the yelling but was terrified I was gonna have the same problem I had when we were swimming. Eret managed to speak before me "Sure but I wanna make a sandcastle instead of swimming. Would you like to join me in the making of one Karl?" I smiled relieved they came up with something "absolutely!" Sapnap looked at me worried knowing full well what probably happened, I assume Tommy and Wilbur were too but I was already standing up to put my plate in the sink. Everyone went upstairs to get changed and so did I since I was still in my pajamas. I put on a pair of shorts and an oversized hoodie. I had no clue where it came from but I wore it anyway. I pulled in some sandals grabbing a water bottle and towels for people I headed out to one of the cars. I got lucky this time being in a car with all the people who already knew so they didn't bring it up. Tommy grabbed my arm. "Ow!" he let go "Shit sorry man I forgot but I was gonna tell you that if anyone tries to dunk you I won't let them." I nodded "Thanks, Tommy." He sat in the front but I didn't mind since I wasn't next to Sapnap. Since I was the smallest though I sat between Eret and him. Tommy demanded to listen to Hamilton and they sang along the entire time. It was fun until we arrived at the beach.

It was beautiful and all but I got extremely nervous. They'll all see your arms and they'll kick you out. "Hey, Karl it'll be alright," Sapnap whispered into my ear. I nodded and he pulled me by my hand and out towards the sand. "Stay here, I'll be right back" He yelled, sprinting towards a storefront. Eret came up and sat beside me with a beach towel to put under themself. "Where's Sapnap off to?" I simply shrugged looking out over the blue water crowded full of people. Suddenly I was tackled and knocked into Eret. "AH!" We both shrieked and proceeded to start giggling when we realized it was just Sapnap. "I bought sandcastle materials!" Sapnap spoke grinning ear to ear. He looked cute, to say the least. We quickly started building by the time we were finished the sun was going down. "Wow, it looks... how do I put this, hmm like a pile of dogcrap." Eret nodded laughing their head off. Sapnap simply nodded but joined into our fit of giggles. Quackity appeared behind us "What's going on over here?" He looked over Sapnap and started laughing as well "What even is that?! Oh my god, it's so bad!" 

We all chilled in the sand watching the sunset. I was leaned against Sapnap's shoulder just watching it. I felt Sapnap put his head on mine and I blushed. Eret noticed and pulled Quackity away winking. "Hey Sappy?" I felt him smile at the nickname "What's up Karl?" I got nervous "Do you like anyone by chance?" The sun had long since dipped under the horizon and the stars were shining bright. The moon illuminated the water leaving everything in a white glow. He turned looking at me and pushed my chin up to look at him. My face was burning bright red and he probably could see it on my face. "It depends on your answer to this" he smirked and leaned in pausing to make sure it was okay. I nodded and he kissed me I felt like I was floating on a cloud listening to the ocean. I was pulled down to earth when he pulled away. I frowned wishing the moment could've lasted forever. I pushed him over and laid down on his chest just listening to his heartbeat and the waves clapping against the shore.
