The next day was Tuesday, & Nao actually woke up before Maki, so he thought he should lighten the mood from last night by making breakfast, & setting out a glass of water for Maki because he KNOWS that that boy didn't drink any water after all of that crying last night.
It wasn't long before Aya woke up. She had heard Nao cooking & decided to get up.
"Good morning Nao!," said Aya.
"Good morning Ms. Katsuragi," replied Nao.
"You know you can just call me by my name, right?," asked the woman.
"I didn't know actually. Good to know now I guess."
"Always great to learn something!"
Nao just smiled at the older woman fondly, while breakfast for the three was about to be done cooking.
After the boy & the adult woman ate breakfast, Maki left his room. He then proceeded to sit next to Nao & put his head on him.
"You ok sweetie?," asked Aya.
Maki nodded his head.
"Are you sure?," asked Nao while poking his head.
"Mhm," replied the smaller boy.
Nao & Aya both looked conserned at the smaller boy, but they knew they couldn't get anything more out of him. He was just too secretive about that sort of stuff.
Nao looked away from Maki & sighed.
"I should probably get going now. See you after practice Maki. Soo you when you get home from work Ms. Katsu-, I mean, Aya," said Nao.
The taller boy then went off on his journey to school. There was morning practice today, but with the events that happened last night, Touma told Nao that he didn't need to go, so when he had arrived, he went to his classroom.
It was a couple minutes before people started to flow into the classroom. The first person to walk into the room, besides for Nao, was Taiyo.
"Nao! Hey, why didn't you go to practice this morning?," asked Taiyo.
"Well, something came up, so Touma said that I could skip it. It's not a juge deal," Nao said, with a fake smile.
"Are you sure? You look a little tired this morning. But I won't press into it. You know, Maki wasn't at practice today either. Weird, right?"
Nao's eyes widened a bit.
"Yeah. That is weird. I wonder why he wasn't there," said the taller boy in a VERY convincing voice.
"NAO! WHERE WERE YOU? TAIYO WAS LONELY!," yelled Shingo.
"Some stuff came up. Not important, & quiet down, will you?"
"Whatever. You look even more tired today than usual. Are you sleeping ok?"
Nao hesatated a little bit. Should he tell the truth? In all honestly, he wasn't sleeping very well to begin with. He was too afraid of waking up Maki & Aya via screaming from nightmares. Even if he did, Maki was a heavy sleeper.
"I-I am sleeping just fine Shingo. Don't worry about me. There's just been some rough stuff going on at home right now."
"Is it you mom again? Do I need to-."
Taiyo interupted Shingo.
"Shingo! I'm sure Nao doesn't want to talk about this right now."
"It's fine," said Nao as he got up & left for the bathroom, "I need to go do something real quick. Don't follow please."
Leaving Shingo & Taiyo in a confused stare, Nao left the room.
