Practice was harder than usual, thanks to Touma. That left Nao really tired by the time he went home. He did manage to do some of his homework as he was walking home from school, although he almost dropped it a lot. He really wanted to get home & start on a new song. He may not be able to, even if he did have free time, since his fingers hurt decently bad from all of those practice swings he had to do.
Once he got home, his mom immedietly asked how his day was, how class went, how was lunch, how much homework he had. She basically asked, no, bombarded him with questions. It was actually tiring. Once he was actually able to get to his room withoutbhis mom bothering him, he realised he didn't have any time for music, but instead, only homework. The boy wondered if she did that on purpose.
Later that night, when Nao's parents were asleep, he decited to take his Ukelele from under his bed, where he kept all of his music stuff, & some blank sheet music, along with a pencil & his backpack, which held some things, including his phone & student ID, & he left his apartment.
The boy decited to walk until he ended up in a park. He didn't know this park, but he knew the area. He had snuck out to that area many times when he needed a change of scenery, or just needed to get away from his mom. He started strumming he ukelele as the time passed.
Before he knew it, Nao had written the basics of a new song. He also checked the time. It was well into the night. He was so caught up with packing up his back pack, he didn't realize a familiar face walking torwards him.
"Hey Nao. What are you doing on this side of town? Not like you to be over here."
"Oh. Hey Maki. What are you doing up this late?"
"I could ask you the same thing. Anyways, what are you doing here anyways."
"Nothing." Nao then looks away from Maki shyly.
"It doesn't look like nothing to me. Are you playing music?" Maki then proceded to sit next to Nao. Nao scooted away, but didn't get up.
"Well, kinda. I'm actually writing a song. Normally I would do this at homs, but I don't like to play when my mom is around. She thinks it's a waste of time."
"I think it is actually kinda cool."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Could you play something for me?"
"Sure."
Nao then proceded to play for Maki as they sat in silence. Nao actually felt kinda relaxed in this moment. After an hour, Nao & Maki decide that they need to go home. They both decited that they should meet up there every Thursday. They both knew that it would be better for both their mental healths, even if they don't know ot yet. They then proceded to go home in order to get enough rest for school in a couple hours.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Maki & Nao friendship? I could see it. Imma makt this fan fic more entertaining as time goes on (I hope). Anyways, get some sleep.
