A/N: Hey guys! I decided to just publish a one-shot book because I have a ton of one-shot ideas. It seems a little overkill to keep publishing them separately. However, this DOES NOT mean that I am quitting "From Superhero to Cinderella." Don't worry, I'll still update that too. I'm just having too much fun with writing one-shots. Haha. I hope you enjoy the stories!

Oh, and before you read the story, just a quick heads up; this story takes place after Ladybug and Cat Noir revealed their identities to one another and started dating. Enjoy!

"How about something warm? It will help you sleep," Cat Noir said to Marinette.

"But what if my parents hear you in the kitchen? How will you explain yourself?" Marinette asked, her voice shaky. She was sitting up in her bed, hugging Cat Noir.

She had woken up around an hour ago from a horrible nightmare. In her nightmare, Hawkmoth had used her and Cat Noir's love for each other against them, catching Cat Noir and threatening to do terrible things to him if she didn't hand in her miraculous.

She had woken up with a start, nearly crying out his name. She had started to cry and sob, terrified that her nightmare would be a reality someday. Tikki had tried to help her calm down, but nothing had worked.

After almost forty-five minutes of non-stop crying, Marinette had finally given in to Tikki's pleas and called Adrien. She had been surprised when he picked up, wondering why he left his phone volume on, although she hadn't asked. She had barely managed to tell him she'd had a nightmare. And right after she'd told him she'd had a nightmare, he'd hung up. She had been confused and had nearly cried harder when, a minute later, Cat Noir had yanked open her trapdoor and dropped onto her bed. He had immediately pulled her into his comforting hug.

"Shhh, it's alright, Bugaboo. I'm here," he had said softly. Marinette had hugged him tightly, petrified that if she let go, she would have never seen him again.

He'd only been at her house for about fifteen minutes, but in those fifteen minutes, he'd helped her to calm down a lot. He hadn't yet asked what her nightmare was about, just holding her and assuring her everything was alright.

"If your parents do see me, I'll just tell them I was out on a late night patrol and heard you crying from a nightmare. I'll tell them I'm just making you something to help you go back to sleep," Cat Noir said in response to her question. Marinette's grip on him tightened.

"I don't want to go back to sleep," she said fearfully.

"We have school tomorrow, M'lady. You need sleep," Cat Noir said. Marinette reluctantly let go of him and watched as he climbed down her bed. He then opened her other trapdoor and left her room. The moment she couldn't see him, Marinette was filled with illogical panic. She threw her blanket off and scrambled down her ladder before hurrying down the stairs. She accidentally ran head-first into Cat Noir's chest. She might have fallen, but his strong arms caught hold of her, keeping her from toppling over.

"What are you doing?" he whispered in bewilderment. Marinette looked down, suddenly feeling a little silly.

"I panicked when you disappeared from sight," she admitted truthfully.

"I wasn't going to be gone very long," Cat Noir said, letting go of her and continuing to the kitchen.

"I know, I just..." Marinette trailed off, sitting down quietly on a stool. She didn't really want to tell him what her nightmare had been about. She watched him as he got out a bowl, then the milk. He poured some milk in the bowl and put it in the microwave. When it was done heating up, he looked around for some hot chocolate mix and put it in the bowl, using a spoon to stir it quietly. He handed Marinette the bowl of hot chocolate, sitting down next to her.
