Reyna's POV
Reyna looked at Thalia, who was sleeping in their beds. She looked so peaceful, so at ease, there was no sign of the lack of strength or the hellhound attack from earlier.
Reyna couldn't believe that Thalia thought she was a monster, simply because she lost control.
Not only was that simply not true, Thalia's sleeping body was proof of that, but when Reyna had done the same thing a few months ago, Thalia had stood by her side, and never left her.
She has even stood with her after finding out that Reyna had killed her father, though Nico was of course the first to find out, besides Hylla, who had witnessed it.
None of that mattered though. This was about Thalia.
Reyna needed to let Thalia know that losing control once in a while didn't make her a monster. It didn't make Percy a monster in Annabeth's, or anyone's, eyes, so it wouldn't make Thalia monster in her eyes.
She grabbed a spoon and a bucket of ice cream from the hidden freezer compartment in the minifridge, which didn't really make sense to Reyna, since there was no one ever in this room besides Reyna and Thalia, and both knew about the "hidden" compartment, and walked back to the beds, sitting down on the edge, continuing to watch Thalia.
She decided she might as well call Annabeth now, as waiting would only increase the chance of Thalia waking up. Unfortunately, as she was about to call, Thalia stirred slightly.
"Is that cookies and cream ice cream?" she asked in a sleepy voice.
"Yes." Reyna replied, knowing that there was no point in lying. Thalia's nose was as good as a bloodhound's. "But if you don't rest, I'm throwing it all out of the window. Now sleep."
"Fine." Thalia groaned softly, falling "asleep" quickly.
Reyna waited a few minutes, until Thalia's fake snoring subsided and she was actually asleep, before contacting Annabeth.
"Hey Reyna." Annabeth exclaimed. "We were just about to call. Did you know you can call multiple people via Iris Message?"
"No. I did not know that, but sure, we can try if you want to." Reyna replied.
"Great! I've always wanted to- hey, where's Thalia, aren't you two like connected by the hip?" Percy asked.
Reyna didn't answer, knowing that question was bound to come up again later, when they contacted everyone. She simply rolled her eyes instead.
"Reyna, what's wrong?" Annabeth asked.
"I'll let you know when everyone's here. I can't be asked to answer questions more than once, though I'll probably have to later." Reyna answered.
Soon enough, the Iris message now included Jason, Piper, Will, Nico, Leo, Travis and Katie, who apparently hadn't killed Travis yet.
"Hey Reyna! Where's your girlfriend!" Leo shouted.
"Shut the fuck up Valdez or I will kill you in your sleep, I don't care if Calypso is in bed with you or not. Thalia's asleep, and she needs it, so if you wake her up, I will personally see to your torture." Reyna shot back quietly, glaring daggers at him.
"What do you mean she needs the sleep? What happened Reyna?" Jason asked, his voice full of worry.
"A massive fucking hellhound is what happened." Reyna growled. "I fucked up while trying to flank it and got flung into a tree. Thalia fought it on her own, she used up almost all her strength."
"What? Is she okay?" Jason asked again.
"Jason, have you met her? It's Thalia, of course she's fine." Annabeth replied, though it sounded like she was trying to convince herself more than Jason.
