A/N: Arabella's gown^
"Ohh that's nice!" I said as I pulled a dress out from the rails and gazed at it before grimacing then hanging it back up.
"Arabella..." Alexander panted behind me, I turned on my heal and face him, he was sweating and out of breath.
"Where have you been?" I asked and felt his forehead with the back of my hand. He was boiling hot.
"I got...the gloves.." he panted and held up a little bag from the accessories boutique down the road.
"Oh you're the best!" I squealed and took the bag from his hand, leaning up on my tiptoes and pecking his cheek quickly before brushing past him and browsing the gowns again.
"Any idea what you want yet?" Alexander asked as he touched the material of certain gowns.
"No clue, what colour should I go for?" I asked him and glanced at him over the rack of gowns between us.
"You suit vibrant colours.." Alexander said as if he read my mind.
"You know me too well Alexander.." I smiled before pulling out a Baby pink gown that had the top half all glittery and rhinestoned along with frills and floral patterns and the bottom fabric was thin and puffed out, the shoulders were puffed too and the fabric was thin and floral materialised.
"I love this.." I breathed and Alexander sauntered round to where I was stood, peering over my shoulder to see the dress.
"That's...wow" he mumbled and his breath tickled the back of my ear, I turned to face him and held it up against my body.
"That's going to look beautiful on you.." he said quietly and I beamed at him.
"This is the one then." I nodded before we made our way over to pay.

I sighed as I pushed open the main halls doors and entered the near-on empty room, it was aligned with tables and chairs pushed to the side and the grand piano sat in the far corner, a phonograph (record player) next to it, Closing the doors behind me as I shuffled inside.
I headed over to the Phonograph (record player) and glanced at the vinyl before placing the peg onto it and watching it spin.
A soft tune filled the room and echoed to the other side of the hall.I closed my eyes and held my arms up in the air how I would hold my dance partner, then my feet led me backwards as I glided across the floor to the beat of the music.
My eyes knit shut as I rotated my body and dipped my back low as if the male dancer was dropping me low then bringing me back up.
I pretended to be spun around before slowing to a stop, a loud applause filled the room as the music scratched to a stop.
"You have got to stop scaring me!" I called to Alexander as he headed into the hall and sauntered over to me.
"That was good, but should I be worried that you looked like you were dancing with a ghost?" Alexander chuckled and I rolled my eyes playfully with a smile.
"Will you help me out then?" I asked politely and he furrowed his brows.
"With what?" Alexander asked and I swiftly headed back over to the record player, my white night gown flowing behind my ankles as I walked.
I placed the needle back on and the tune filled the room once more.
