Alexander tasted like the sunset on a summers day, warm and soft lips hesitant on mine at first but soon relaxed into the kiss, He shut the book and placed it behind himself as he pushed forward more against me and gently tucked some hair behind my ear.

My heart fluttered deep inside me and my blood squirmed at the feeling, I'd never been kissed, and this was immaculate, my hands pressed onto his chest lightly and his left hand rested on the nape of my neck, his tongue skimmed over my bottom lip and I pressed my lips deeper against his, I wasn't sure if I was kissing correctly but it felt magnificent so I think I was okay.

"W..wait." He mumbled and pulled back, I widened my eyes at what we'd just done and touched my lips with my fingertips.

"We-we can't." Alexander stumbled and glanced at me nervously.

"I'm sorry I-" I stuttered and glanced to the floor shamefully.

"I just, it felt right..I'm sorry Alexander." I whispered.

"It does feel right, for us, but I don't think it is right, I'm a servant for your family Arabella you're a Princess." Alexander said quietly and I slowly lifted my head back to meet his eye-line.

"I'm not bothered about what other people think." I shrugged, my vision glassing a little as I felt I was going to lose my friend now.

"We could get into serious trouble." Alexander sighed sadly.

"What have I told you before Alexander?" I asked him with a little smirk toying at the corner of my mouth.

"I would never let you get hurt." I said quietly and his eye twinkled a little bit.

"It feels right, I know you feel it too." I breathed and gently placed my hands into his that rested on his lap.

"We're so fucked Arabella." Alexander whispered with a small smile.

"It's kind of fun though, don't you think?" I giggled and he huffed a laugh at me.

"Imagine though Alexander, stealing little kisses around the palace when no ones watching, passing notes to eachother to meet in discreet places no one knows about but us.." I suggested with a small grin.

"Tell me you feel it too Alexander, there's a magic sparking between us.." I sighed and squeezed his hands a little.

"I do feel it... But We will get into big trouble Arabella, if anyone found out...This would have to be some major secret..." Alexander said and I let go of his hands and placed mine back onto my lap, glancing down sadly at his words.

"..And I'm up for that." He whispered and I glared back at him shockingly but he moved forward and pressed his lips to mine once more.

Giggling into the kiss as he pushed me back and crawled closer to me, my arms wrapping around his neck and his hands firmly holding my waist as our lips danced together.

"Morning." I called as I headed into the kitchen, my night gown flowing behind my heals as I walked in.

"Morning Arabella." Matthew and Jamie called simultaneously but Alexander just sipped his coffee, his cheeks creasing as he tried not to smile at me.

"Thank you for breakfast." I said to Matthew and Jamie and handed Jamie my plate.

"Pleasure." They both said quietly and I wandered around the kitchen. Slowly moving over to the table where Alexander was sat, I glanced over my shoulder to Matthew and Jamie whose backs were turned to us.
