TW: Talks of past child abuse, EDNOS, self-harm

Liam laid his head down on Theo's shoulder as they sat there in silence, both of them not even noticing they fell asleep until Dr.Geyer walked down the stairs to leave for work.

"Good morning," the man laughed as the two woke up, "don't worry it's 11 PM." He glanced at Theo who jumped up in a panic.

"I have to go clean the gym," Theo looked down at Liam who sprung up shortly after the chimera.

"Be safe," Liam nodded.

"I will be, Little Wolf try to go back to sleep," Theo kissed him before following the doctor out the door.

"He looks better," Dr.Geyer looked at the chimera.

"We talked through everything," Theo stated.

"Good, he needed that. He's just so hard on himself."

"He is," Theo nodded in agreeance.

"I think you are helping him a lot though."

"I hope so."

"Goodnight, Theo."

"Goodnight, Dr.Ge-David."

The man smiled as the chimera climbed into his truck.

Theo was tapping his hands on the steering wheel; he was now getting worried. Liam was scaring him more and more, and then the hunters being back weren't helping anyone. Liam's dream was bothering him too. He never saw Liam freaked out like that before, sure he worried about everything and everybody, but this was different. Theo knew nightmares like an old friend, but his made sense. Who wouldn't have nightmares after being trapped in purgatory with their sister ripping out their heart over and over again?

Liam crawled up the stairs to bed; he was exhausted. Theo made it sounds so easy, just to push everything aside, but he couldn't. It just was overwhelming him. He collapsed in his bed, waiting for morning to arrive.

Theo woke up, quickly texting Liam to make sure he was awake, more so alive in Liam's case.

"Are you awake?"

"I'm fine, Theo, have a good day."

"You too, Little Wolf."

Liam groaned at the sound of Theo's text; he's been awake for hours. He never fell back asleep after climbing up the stairs, mind racing over everything. He dragged himself out of bed and threw on a lacrosse hoodie and sweatpants, draping Theo's jacket over his shoulders. He walked down, quickly making coffee, just waiting for Nolan to pick him up. He watched his handshake over the mug; this was going to be a long day.

"You look wide awake," Tate chuckled as Theo walked out looking just as exhausted by the beta.

"Stupid nightmares," Theo muttered.

His mind wandered back to Tara appearing in his dream last night, shoving him to the ground, fist ripping through his chest, then even worse his body being thrown down on a gravestone. He glanced over at it as his eyes shut, one name, Liam Dunbar ran across it. Then, it was just a cycle over and over again; he lost count at six or seven times the same scene played over and over again.

"How's Liam?"

"Surviving," Theo shrugged.

"You know if you need time off."

"I can't use you like that, but thank you."

"Morning," Liam muttered as he climbed into Nolan's passenger seat.
