Chimera

Chapter three

"What if they find us?" I ask and Theo and Corey look down at me. "We'll need to stick together from now on, nothings gonna happen to you." Theo says and I smile lightly. The green light disappeared and the others see us and walk over to us. "They're gone." Stiles says. "For now." The girl with the strawberry blonde hair says. "What do you mean for now Lydia?" Stiles asks. "They'll be back, and really soon." Lydia says. "What do we do with them?" Mason asks and looks to the three of us. "We have to keep them hidden, where are y'all staying?" Scott says. "What do you mean?" Corey asks. "I mean where do y'all live?" Scott asks again. "We're staying with Sierra." Theo says. "Okay, good, y'all need to protect each other." Scott says. "Bored up the windows of yall need too." Malia says and walks forward and grabs my hand and pulls me to a wall. "We need to talk." Malia says and I raise an eyebrow. "Is it about you being my sister?" I ask. "Step sister, and yes" she says bringing her voice down to a whisper.

"Your dad, my step dad, his name is Peter, and he's not the best father in the world." She says. "Okay, I can live with that, when do I get to meet him?" I ask and she frowns. "Scott will show you to him after school." Malia says and looks back. "Can Theo and Corey go with me?" I ask and she nods. "If you feel safe with them then yeah." She says and I smile. "I have a question for you." I say. "How is he your step dad, do you know your real father." I ask and she shrugs. "It's actually kind of complicated with me and Peter, I met him last year, i just call him my step father because my family is really complicated." She says and looks down. "Sorry I asked, maybe we could talk about this another day?" I ask and nods her head and we walk back to the others.

"What we're y'all talking about?" Stiles asks. "Nothing, just how Scott is taking Sierra to Peter after school." Malia says and Scott looks at me quickly. "You sure bout this?" He asks and I nod. "They're coming too." I say as I point to Corey and Theo. Scott nods and we all walk out of the library. "Cmon Sierra, we have first period together." Theo says. "I'll see you later." Corey says and walks in a different direction to his class. "It was nice to meet you Sierra, see you soon." Liam says and shakes my hand before walking away and leaving me and Theo alone in the middle of the hallway.

"What's wrong?" Theo asks as we walk silently side by side to our first class. "Nothing." I say. "Your lying, your heart is beating like crazy." Theo says. "I'm just scared." I say quickly. "For what?" Theo asks. "The dread doctors, what if they get to me and finish what they had started, what if they kill me?" I say in a panic. They stops walking and grabs my hand to stop me and he pulls me towards him into a hug. "Nobody's going to hurt you, I'll make sure of it." Theo says calmly and then we walk the rest of the way to class.

At the end of the day, theo, Corey, and I were walking outside when Scott had stopped us in the middle of the parking lot. "You ready?" Scott asked. "For what?" I reply. "To meet your dad." Scott says. "Oh, umm yeah." I say nervously. "You going in theos car?" Scott asks and I nod my head. "Okay, follow closely behind us, I'll be in stiles' jeap." Scott says and walks to a jeap that was a light bluish color.

"Come on." Theo says and takes my hand kind of roughly and brings me to his car and Corey sits in the backseat as I sit in the passengers seat and Theo starts the car and begins driving right behind stiles' jeap.

Theo parks in front of this huge penthouse and we get out of the car. "He lives in a penthouse?" I ask. "Actually, Derek lives here but Peter insists he stay with Derek." Stiles says as he approaches the three of us chimeras. I let out a long breathe which causes theos attention and he turns to me. "You know you don't have to do this alone." Theo says. "It's fine, I think I can handle this." I say and step forward. "Go on, he knows your here, I told Derek and I'm pretty sure Derek told Peter." Scott says and I nod and take a few steps forward and open the door. I climb the steps and reach another door and I knock on it. I heard shuffling around and the door opened and there stood a guy, much taller than me and he had a stern look on his face. "Your Derek?" I ask and he nods. "He's waiting for you." Derek says and leads me inside and inside was a room full of windows from ceiling to the floor and you could see the whole town of beacon hills from down below.

"Over here." Derek says and I follow closely behind him as he leads me to an office and there was a guy sitting at a desk tending to the computer. "Go on, I'll be here." Derek says and nudges me forward. I knock on the opened office door and the guy lifts his head from the computer screen and he spots me and quickly shuts the computer and stands up. "Hi, I'm-" "Sierra, your Sierra." He cuts me off and I nod my head. "Your Peter..... my dad." I say nervously. "To be honest, I thought you were dead." He says after a few moments of silence. "Why would you think that?" I ask. "You know about the car crash?" He asked and I nodded. "You and malia somehow survived, I'm not sure how though, you might've fallen out of the car and somebody might've found you." He says. "I didn't know that." I say. "You were young, you probably don't remember much, but you were taken by this women." He says. "My mother?" I asked and he nodded. "Only, she wasn't your birth mother." Peter says. "Who was my real mother then?" I ask and Peter looks down at his hands. "Malias mother." He says. "But she said we were step sisters." I say. "Y'all are blood sisters, she just doesn't wanna except that in her father too." He says "she says that I should be cautious with you." I say and he clenched his hands into tight fists. "She probably means about my past, I wasn't a good guy back then but I'm working on it." He says. "Oh really? And how's that working out for you?" I hear Derek say from outside the office. "Hah don't listen to him, he's delusional." Peter says.

"I should probably go now, my friends are waiting for me outside." I say. "Okay, your probably right, it was a pleasure to meat you Sierra." He says and loosens his fists and grabs my hand and kisses the top of it and I turn on my heel. "Bye Derek." I say and Derek nods as I leave the penthouse.
