Continuation of the last part:

Hope and Josie were still sitting on her bed, hugging. After a few minutes, Josie finally broke the silence. ''Hope, I don't know what all that was about, but if you want to talk about it, I'm a good listener.''

The older girl already knew that from their previous conversations. But Hope didn't really feel like talking about it. Hope wiped away her tears and started to change the subject. She wasn't very good at hiding it though.

''You look amazing Jo. Were you getting ready for the party?'' Hope couldn't take her eyes off of Josie. She really looked magical.

''Yeah, I just came here to ask...'' Josie cut of her sentence there, after what Hope just went through, she didn't want to bother her. ''You know what forget it, it's not important. If you don't want to talk about it, I could just leave you alone.'' Hope always turned away from everyone when she was feeling sad, so Josie figured she just wanted to be left alone, but she was wrong.

''No please Jo, stay. I don't wanna be alone right now.'' When she said that, they both looked up a little surprised. It was the first time Hope asked her to stay. ''I mean, if you want to go to the party right now, you should, obviously.'' Hope was stumbling with her words, she didn't know what to say to the taller girl because she didn't want to come off as needy or clingy. She didn't want to keep her away from the party either. She never wanted to keep Josie from having fun, even if it was at her own suspense, even if Josie wasn't having fun with her.

''I'd rather stay here with you. I wouldn't enjoy it if you weren't there anyways.'' Josie closed her eyes after she said that. She felt embarrassed afterwards, but it was already too late the words had already slipped out. It really wasn't the time to talk about that right now. ''You just want to sit here and chill for a bit?'' Josie asked to try to break the ice a little bit. Hope just nodded and they slid back to sit with their backs against the headboard of her bed. Hope was so tired that she sat halfway up, leaning against the right side of Josie's body and putting her head on her shoulder. She felt save enough to just relax for a little bit while Josie put on a movie on the tv. ''I do have to get ready in a bit though, I  have to go to the party with Landon and he's not gonna be happy if I'm late.'' Hope started to whisper because she felt too tired to even speak. She had no idea that Josie heard their whole conversation and knew that he had blackmailed her into going with him.

Hope closed her eyes for a bit, but fell asleep really quickly. Josie noticed and turned down the volume of the tv so she wouldn't wake up from all the noise. She looked down at the sleeping girl and started smiling. Hope looked so cute, with her eyes closed, so vulnerable. Josie wasn't paying attention to the movie anymore, she just couldn't help but stare at her.

The next time Josie looked at the time again, it was already 10 P.M. so the party had already started. She had to wake Hope up. She really didn't want to disturb her, but they both needed to get ready. So she delicately grabbed her by her shoulders and started to softly shake her a little bit. She whispered in her left ear to get her to wake up. Hope slowly opened her beautiful blue eyes to find Josie staring into them. Hope was immediately awake and sat up straight. She felt embarrassed that she fell asleep on top of Josie.

''Oh shoot, it's time to go and I still haven't gotten ready, yet. Why didn't you wake me sooner?'' Hope instantly shot off the bed and ran to her closet.

''You looked so peaceful, I didn't want to be the one to wake you up, so I waited for as long as I could, in the hope that you would wake up yourself.'' There started to appear a smile on Hope's face.

''Well, for all that matter, waking up to see your face is pretty much the best way to wake up.'' They both chuckled. Both of them felt a little distressed saying those types of things to each other, but neither of them were stopping. After she said that she quickly turned around and grabbed some clothes out of a drawer and started to throw them around the room.
