Plan A (part 3)

Josie's POV

So, I need to come up with a plan to ask Hope, quickly. And not to forget, I need a plan to keep Lizzie away from the party, which will be impossible. But now I'm not sure which one is gonna be harder. Knowing Hope she'll do everything in her power to lock herself in her room all night. And knowing Lizzie, she'll kill anyone who stands in her way of going to the most epic party of the year. She has never missed a party in her entire life. 

Okay, I need to focus on one problem at a time. I need someone to distract Lizzie all night. And who better to ask than the one person she actually likes. So, MG it is. 

After walking to MG's room:

*knock knock* ''Hey MG, can I talk to you real quick? It's important!''

He slowly opens up. ''If it's about that note I slipped in your sister's bag. It wasn't me." He is looking at me with big, worried eyes.

''First of all, I didn't even know about that, secondly, you saying 'the note I slipped in your sister's bag' already tells me that it WAS you, because no one else could have known, and third of all that is not why I'm here.''

''Well good then, you can come in.What do you want to talk about?''

I suddenly see that big smile on his face return like usual. I don't understand how he can be this happy all of the time. But that's besides the point. 

''I don't have a lot of time, so I have to be quick. And I really need you to not ask any questions and just do me this one favor, okay?''

''Uhm, Josie you're scaring me a bit. What's going on? Why do you need my help?''

''Well, didn't you listen. I said no asking questions. You owe me this after I helped you set up that 'date' for you and Lizzie, a couple of weeks ago, even though she never showed up. You vowed to never stop trying to win her over no matter how much she would hurt you. And right now, I need you to keep up on that promise. There is something I have to do tonight, but Liz will kill me if she finds out what it is. So I really need you to keep her busy and make sure, no matter what happens, and I can't emphasize this enough ,that she wont attend the party. Can you please do that for me?''

Josie has never asked anything from anyone so this question really made her feel uncomfortable. But asking for this favor doesn't make her a bad friend right? 

''Well that was very direct, coming from you, uhm...'' She could already tell that MG wasn't expecting such a question. He just stood there with his eyes wide open, trying to process what just happened. ''You never ask for any favors, so I'm guessing it must be really important and you are my best friend so I'll help you with anything, you know that. I just hope one day you'll feel comfortable enough to tell me what this was about. And I will help you with this, however I can't promise Lizzie is going to be very helpful. So I'm sorry if I'll end up with a wooden stake in my heart at the end of the night, but I can promise you I'll try my best.'' He said with a chuckle under his breath. Of course she wouldn't actually kill him, but you never know what Lizzie Saltzman might do if you stand in her way.

''Oh my god MG, I love you so much. This means the world to me. I thought you needed a bit more convincing but I guess not. I just can't tell you what I'm up to just yet, however I can tell you, if I succeed, I want you to meet my new girlfriend.'' I just couldn't hold back my smile any longer.

That was the first time she had ever said that out loud. That thought was always implanted in her brain but she never expected to act on it. She really wanted Hope Mikaelson to be her girlfriend!
