Clarke's mother, Abagail Griffin is one of the greatest surgeons in the world. Clarke had spent her life living in her mother's shadow. Abby was a renowned surgeon recognized all over the world. She won countless awards and Griffin was pretty much a household name in a hospital. Her mother never wanted her to go to medical school. She actually tried to talk her out of it. She told her that she didn't have what it took to be a surgeon. You see surgery is like a game. You either have what it takes to play ball or you don't and her mother was one of the greats. Clarke on the other hand...was kind of screwed.
Clarke stirred in her sleep. She had been dreaming about performing surgery. That was until her alarm went off. The alarm mimicking the flatline of her patient and thus causing her to wake. Blue eyes fluttered open. Her head was pounding. She really shouldn't have gone out to that bar last night. She looked over and her breath slightly hitched at the naked body next to her. The woman was asleep on her stomach. There was an intricate back tattoo on display. The blanket was only covering the sunkissed beauty's lower waist. Clarke grabbed the bedsheet and wrapped herself in it leaving the brunette in the comforter.
Clarke tried to tiptoe upstairs but the angelic voice halted her motions. The woman held up a pair of black lace underwear.
"I believe this is yours." She says with a subtle smirk
There was no denying this woman was beautiful but Clarke was late and that isn't what you wanted to be on your first day. She was already an embarrassment to her name and she hadn't even started her first day. She sighed internally.
"I need to shower..." Clarke says
She felt her cheeks blush at the embarrassment of this all. She was never one for one-night stands. She just moved into town two weeks ago and decided to go out with her long-time friend Raven Reyes to celebrate getting into the same internship program. Clarke had spotted the brunette from across the bar and well the rest was history.
Lexa stood up from the floor in all her naked glory and walked over to Clarke. The blonde forgot how to breathe for a moment.
"Why don't I join you upstairs in the shower and we can continue what we started last night." She whispered seductively in the blonde's ear
"I really need to get going. I had a really great time last night ummm..." Clarke said slightly embarrassed not remembering the girl's name. Her head felt foggy
"You really don't remember my name? you screamed it out half the night." She chuckled
Clarke's face went beat red. Lexa tucked a loose strand of hair behind the girl's ear. Blue eyes darted from green eyes to those plump lips.
Screw it I'm already going to be late Clarke thought to herself. She smashed their lips together earning a moan from the older girl. Lexa gripped her ass and the blonde wrapped her legs around the girl's waist. Clarke directed her upstairs to the bathroom in between heated kisses. They never actually made it upstairs last night. She knew that much seeing as they woke up on the living room floor.
Clarke may not have remembered her name earlier but she'd sure as hell remember it now. Breathy moans of the girl's name were said like a mantra as Lexa worked her into a puddle of pleasure. After that steamy morning wake-up call, they both went their separate ways. Not before sharing a soft kiss though. Lexa caught a cab to the bar parking lot and then hopped into her dodge charger. She already had multiple missed calls from last night. She pressed the redial button on her phone and tried to mentally brace herself for the attitude that would come from the other side of the phone.
"You're late," Anya says
"I know I know," Lexa grumbles
"I got you a coffee and a change of clothes. I also have someone who was very upset you missed breakfast but wants to say hello nonetheless." She says
