Lukey: Hey we have a show in a couple of days in London and i was wondering if you would like to go with us?
Me: YEAH I WOULD LOVE TO!
Me: I'll go ask my mom and David.
Lukey: great we leave in three days and we will be there for three to four.
Me: I'll be back.
I set my phone down and go find them. I walk into the kitchen and they are all sitting at the kitchen table.
"Hey mom, David." i say.
"What do you want Annie?" David asks unenthusastically.
"Why do you think i want something?"
"Because you are trying to act all nice and inocent. Meaning you want something. So what is it this time?" David asks.
"Fine. I was wondering if you would let me fly to London to see a concert?" i say very quickly and my parents immedaitly look up from their papers.
"what? Why would we let you fly accross the world just so you can go see a conciert that you can just wait for them to come her to go to it?" my mom questions.
"Because I just want to go see them, i was kind of invited to go."
"By who?" my mom asks.
"well one of the people whose show it is." i say.
"Annie do you know how expensive flying to london is?"
"Yes but i really want to go. I'll pay you back." i beg.
"We'll think about it. when is it?" they say.
"Three days."
"How are you spose to get a plane ticket in three days?" the exclaim. "How about if you can find the cheapest ticket all on your own for a plane that leaves in three days we'll let you go."
"O my gosh thank you!" i say and giv them both huge hugs.
Me: hey do you know any cheap ticket sites? They will only let me go if i can find a cheap ticket for a plane that takes off in three days.
Lukey: don't worry about airfare our management will handle it.
Me: Wait does that mean that I don't have to pay for the airplane tickets?
Lukey: Yes
Me: Why not
Lukey: because you are performing and they just take it out of your earnings from the ticket sales.
Me: Luke Robert Hemmings what do you mean by performing!?
Lukey: You said you want to be in the muisc bisuness and this is your chance to show the world what you are about.
Me: But what if I'm no good and everyone hates me?
Lukey: they won't. And i saw your youtube videos that you posted of you singing and you are really really good.
Me: O thank you that means alot. But I'm still not sure i can do it. Sing infront of all those people.
Lukey: You'll do great. And trust me who actually wants to come see us performs . Only like five people will show.
Me: thats a joke to make me feel better right?
Lukey: yes it was but i guess it wasn't that funny.
Me: yeah not really.
Lukey: well do you think that your parents will let you go know?
Me: for sure.
Lukey: Yeah!!!
Lukey: I have to go I have to go rehearse just texts your parents answer and your song selection. You are going to play three songs.
Me: Ok great. Bye
"Mom! David! I got something that i think you might like?" i yell to them walking into the kitchen happily.
"Ok what is it." David asks not expecting the answer i was about to give him.
"Ok its Free!" i says jumping.
'Wait how could it be free?" My mom asks.
"Well I'm kind of the opening act for the band. So their management is flying me out with them. And also I get paid so they are just taking the airfare out of it." i explain and they get out of their chairs and give me a hug.
"O my gosh Annie I'm so proud you!" my mom says as giving me a big squeeze.
"Thanks you guys. Does this mean you'll let me go!?"
"Yes. That was the deal." Davis says.
Me: MY PARENTS SAID YES!!!!!!!
Lukey: Thats great have you decide what you are going to play?
Me: Not yet
Lukey: Well do you know if you are going to use a band?
Me: Yeah I think i will but i would also like to play my gitar for a song or two.
Lukey: thats fine that all i needed to know.
Lukey: See you then Annie
