Twenty One

Annie's POV

Waking up this morning was not on the top of my list of things I wanted to do. Because I knew If I woke that means I was closer to having to say goodbye to Luke and the boys. But the sad truth was that I had to. As much as I wanted them to stay. I knew they had to go because this was really important to them. It was important to me to because I care about them a lot and this makes them happy so I am happy as well.

But right now I am just sitting on the counter eating my apple and watching the boys run around the house packing last minute things.

While that's happening the doorbell rings and they were too busy to notice. So go and open the door to see that it's the driver that was arranged to come pick them up. I tell him that they will be out in a second and he nods and walks back to the van.

"Boys the car is here!" I yell into the house. Then one by one they all appear in front of me. "Ok let's go. You don't want to miss you flight, do you!?"

We all pile into the car their carry on bags in the trunk. All there other bags were already shipped to where they were playing first which is Lisbon. There isn't enough to seats so I have to sit on Luke's lap. I look at Luke and see that he doesn't look happy like he should be.

"Hey lukey what's wrong." I ask quietly so only he can here.

"It's nothing." He says and I give him the don't lie to me look and gives in. "It's just that I'm going to miss you," he says and I give him a kiss.

"I'm going to miss you too. Now what's the real reason?"

"What if they don't like me. What if I completely mess up? What if they all leave. What if-" I Shut him up with the cliche kiss.

"Babe stop thinking about the what ifs. Ok. I know that the are going to love you. And if they don't, which will never happen, I will." I say and give him a side hug.

"Awwwee guys did you hear that! Oh my god that was the cutest thing ever!" Calum fanboys and we both flick him off at the same time. "Why can't I have that type of relationship?"

"Don't worry love, I'm sure you'll find here some day." I say and give Calum a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey don't steel my girl. You go find your own." Luke says pulling my back to him.

By this time we have arrived at the airport and we all get out. They get their bags and then go get there boarding passes. I just follow behind them holding onto Lukes hand. We go through sercurity and then wait at their gate. "Hey babe do you want to come gets some snacks with me?" Luke asks and he takes my hand. 

We walk into one of the near buy stores where they sell all the snacks and magazines and stuff like that. He goes and starts to look for things that him and the boys like. While i stand back just looking at him. 

"Um excuse me?" i hear someone say. I look around to see a girl that seemed to be at least 15. "Um can i get a picture with you?  I'm a really big fan of you."

"Of course I would love to. Whats your name love?" i ask and his smile grows.

"Um its Carson." she says.

"Well its nice to meet you Carson. Um hey Luke can you come and take a photo for us?" i ask and he stops looking at the variety of sweets. He nods and walks towards us.

"Ohhh-Myy-godd your Luke Hemmings." she stutters. "Um do you think we can take a photo with all three of us?" We nod and carson Luke his phone so he can take the photo because he has the longest arms.

I get a idea and look at Luke and kind of have a silent conversation. He nods and we both go and kiss carsons cheeks, which made her smile even more and Lukes takes the photo. 

"Oh my god thank you. You guys, and the rest of your band, are literally my world."

"Oh thank you. We should be getting back to the gate but it was very nice to meet you." i say and she gives me and Luke a hug and leaves. Luke goes up to the counter and pays and then we walk back to the chairs.

"Gate 28C to London is now boarding." the person says over the intercom. I look towards luke and he already has teary eyes. I stand up and walk over to him. I walk into his arms and dig my face into his chest.

"I'm really going to miss you." i say with tears flowing down my face. 

"Me too." he says. "I love you."

"I love you too." i say and let go of him. I go and give the rest of the boys a hug. 

"Final call for gate 28C flight to London." They gather their stuff and walk towards the gate leaving me alone. Once i can no longer see them through the door i take a second to compose myself. I turn away from the gate and walk towards the exist. 

I get in the cab that i had planned to pick me up. I tell him the address and sit back in the seat. Once we arrive pay and then get out of the cab. I walk up and unlock the front door. I drop my purse and take off my shoes at the front door and walk upstairs and go lay in Lukes bed.
