Sixteen

A/N i have decided to switch point of-view between both Luke and Annie

Luke's Point Of-View

"Wake up, you butthead!" i hear a voice and feel that someone is shaking me. I slowly open my eyes and see that it is Annie who trying to wake me. I growl and face the oppisite way of her. "Come on wake up!"

"No, what time is it?' i ask and Annie reaches over me to look at her phone.

"Umm.. 8:03."

"And why the hell are you waking me up at 8 in the morning?'' i say pulling the covers over my head which she preiviously took off.

"Because i woke up nearly an hour ago and i couldn't fall back asleep because i'm too excited for this afternoon. Then after playing on my phone and litsening to snore for an hour i got bored."

"Hey i don't snore." i say sitting up.

"Yes you do." she laughs. "Its not like old grandpa snores but cute little baby snores." she says and i pull her onto my lap.

"Oh and what is happening this afternoon that is stopping you from going back to sleep?"

"Oh I have my addition for Virgin records today." she explains.

"Hey since you are still tired how about we go downstairs and we can watch a movie?' She asks as she plays with my now extremly messy hair. I nod and she crawls off of me and then off her bed. I follow her down the stairs and then turn into the kitchen instead of the living room so we can get some breakfast. In the kitchen Annie's mom and stepdad were standing around the island.

"Oh hi honey why are you up so early?"her mom asks walking around the island and gave her a hug and a kiss on the forehead. "Oh hi Luke. Would you like some breakfast? I could make you guys some eggs."

"Oh no Mrs. Myers (Annie's mom last name when she married David and Annie and Amber decided to keep their last names the same) thats fine. I'm not really hungry." i reply.

"Oh sweetie I know you are hungry and a really woudn't mind making a couple more eggs. Also you can call me Maggie."

"Alright then, Maggie."

"Do you like scrambled?' i nod and she starts making the eggs for us. I can't beleive she was being so nice to me . If she was my mom she would have yelled at me for letting a girl sleep in the same bed as me. But Maggie, she seemed like she didn't even care. After she finished making the eges she handed us two plates and a glass of water. "So Luke, Annie tells me that you are in a band thats pretty popular."

"Yeah Its called Five Seconds of Summer." i say wipping my face with a napkin.

"Wow that name sounds really famililar."

"Maybe it because your other daughter obsesses over them." Annie says kind of quietly.

"Oh wait are you the band that sings that underwear song?"

"Yep thats us." i say and i take the last bite of my eggs.

"It goes like this right?" she says and then starts to sing. "You look so perfect standing there in my American Apparel underwear--"

"Mom!' Annie yells at her for to stop singing.

"Why i thought Luke liked it." she says innocently.

"You were wonderful." i applaud . "Hey Annie do you want to go watch that movie now?" She nods and takes my plate and puts it into the sink and then i follow her into the living room.

"Sorry my mom is so embarrasing." she says turning the Tv onto Netflix.

"No worries i think she's cool." i say and she sits down next to her and i pull her closer to me so that she is resting her head in the crook of my neck. She puts on a random movie. I turn away from her and watch the movie.

Annie's Point Of-View

The movie ended a while ago and now Luke and I are in my car driving to the studio. Luke decided to drive because I am way to nervous to concentrate on the road right now. "Don't worry Annie you'll do great." Luke tries to calm me down. He puts his hand in my thigh and rubs his hand in circles.

We pull up to the studio and i now am up to my limit with nerves. "Luke I don't know if i can do this."

"Annie don't worry I'm going to be waiting out here when you give me the good news."

"What if there isn't good news?"

"There will be." He smiles. "Now go kick some ass."

"Ok do I look ok?" i stall.

"Annie stop stalling and go in there and blow him away already." he says and gives me a kiss on the cheek before i open the car door and head into the building. I go up to the front desk and ask the lady where i could find Scott Parkers and she points me to the direction of studio B. I walk in and there are hundreds of records and guitars every where.

"Oh you must be Annie!'' a man which i asume is Scott Parker. "Hi I'm Scott Parker. I talked to you over the phone."

"Oh hi Its a pleasure to meet you." i say and i pull out my hand for him to shake it but he ignores it and goes straight for a hug. I was a little cought off guard but i quickly return the gesture to be poliet.

"Ok Annie if you would just go into the recording area and we can get started." he says leading me into the little room and he goes on the other side of the glass where all those nobs and buttons are. "Ok when ever your ready."

I take a deep breath and start to sing the song i picked which is chains by Nick Jonas. A/N this is just the chorus

I finish the song and take a little bow as Scott comes into the room clapping. "Wow Annie that was wonderful."

"Oh thank you."

"Ok the one thing that i didn't tell you is that you people who make the final decision were actually listening to you." Scott explains.

"Wait what? They're here?"

"No. I face timed them during your performence." he says.

"And what did they think?" i ask nervously.

"They absolutly loves you. They said that you could the new Demi Lovato!'

"Oh my gosh thats amazing considering that Demi Lovato is one of my biggest idols!' i say jumping.

"Ok now come here and sign some things," he gestures me into the other room. "Ok this is your contract. Now go and read it carefully and when you finish sign that line at the bottom."

"Oh my gosh you are actually signing me!" i yell and give him hug . "This is like a dream come true. Thank you so much."

"No thank you. I think you can be the next big singer. Now go and sign those papers." he says and i sit down at the tiny little table and read my new contract. Once i read through it all very carefully i sign it down on the line where he told me to and then gave him it. "Ok see you next week for our weekly meetings. And once you start to become bigger the will be more frequent."

"Ok thank you so much once again see you next week." i say stuffing my copy of the contract in my purse and run out back to me car with Luke standing out side of it.

"So how did it go?" he asks already knowing the answer.

"THEY SIGNED ME!!!!!" i yell and he picks me up and twirls me around.

"I knew you could do it babe." he says. "Now how about i take you on a celebratory dinner date?"

"Ok where do you want to go?"

"I was just thinking like that pizza place down the street." he says.

"Oh why how romantic." I Say and we drive to the pizza place. We quickly order a peporoni pizza and then talk about the boy's up coming tour. When we finish he drives me back to my house and i got straight to my bathroom and take a shower. After my shower i get dressed in my usual pj's and go to sleep.
