A Mirror Person is one of a race of creatures with origins in Chinese mythology, legend and folklore. The best known account of their existence is documented by the famous author Jorge Luis Borges, in his 1957 work called The Book of Imaginary Beings.
The account tells of a race of people who lived in a dimension apart from Earth. This dimension's existence was accidentally discovered by ancient Chinese mages, who used mirrors as a portal to bridge the two dimensions. This alternate dimension would be called the Fauna or Mirrors and its inhabitants would be called Mirror People.
A Speculoan or 'Mirror Mage' is a human who uses the supernatural - much like witches and druids.
Different to others though, they use a specific type of magic 'mirror magic' that essentially allows them to create portals in reflections. These portals could do something as simple as transporting someone to another house, or more extravagant, to another dimension.
The 'Mirror Dimension' is a dimension that lies between the living and the ghost dimensions - therefore making it a secluded and empty dimension, perfect for the use of mirror mages.
In order to get to this dimension, a mirror mage must use a reflection - whether this is from a window, puddle or mirror doesn't matter. They will create a portal in the reflection, and then walk through.
The Mirror Dimension looks exactly the same as the living, with all the same buildings and objects. The only difference is the fact that there is no people. Once in the mirror dimension, all one has to do to get back is to walk through another reflection.
Mirror Mages are a rarer form of Mage, and often use their abilities for good.
PHYSICAL;
Mirror Mages look like any human, with their eye, hair and skin colour varying depending on the person.
Their eyes do, however, turn a metallic silver when using their magic. Instead of just their pupil turning, the entirety of the eye will change.
Some are powerful enough to possess a glass form, which will turn their body entirely into a strong glass.
All Mirror Mages possess;
• Metallic Eyes;
Their eyes turn a metallic silver when using their magic.
• Glass Form;
Can turn their entire body into a 'glass form', giving them enhanced durability and strength.
• Reflection Portals;
Can create portals out of any reflection. These portals will take them anywhere in the living world, or anywhere in the mirror dimension.
• Glass Manipulation;
Can manipulate, create and control glass.
• Illusion creation;
Can create a mirror image of what she's looking at, therefore creating an illusion that something is there when it's not.
WEAKNESSES;
• Anything that can harm a human

» As Mirror Mages are humans who use the supernatural, they are not effected by Mountain Ash.
