A Shadow Priest/Priestess are humans who have the supernatural ability to possess dark magic - a magic that if possessed by any other being, would cause them to become influenced by the magic and turn them corrupt and deviant (as seen with dark druids) (however this does not mean it's impossible for them to turn corrupt - if a shadow priest/priestess turns corrupt, it will almost always be their choice, and not the magic's influence.)

Similar to the stereotypical Witch, they're able to cast spells, perform rituals, and possess voodoo magic. They generally use their magic for good, despite the reputation of their magic being 'evil' and devious'. 

PHYSICAL;

They're human and therefore can look like any ordinary person.

When performing stronger and more powerful magic, their entire eyes will turn black - however with basic spells and rituals, they stay their normal colour.

ABOUT;

A shadow priest/priestess can only been born by blood, and even then it is quite rare. 

If a child is born into the coven with dark magical abilities, they will automatically join the other priest/priestesses. 

If the child however, is born without magic, they join the protectors of the coven. These people are taught how to deal with dark magic, and how to protect the priest/priestesses from any harms way, even protecting them from going down a dark path - they connect them to the outside world.

All Shadow Priest/Priestesses possess Dark Magic, this can look like -

• Voodoo Magic

• Spell-Casting

• Fortune-Telling

• Umbrakinesis

• Have a Natural connection to Bugs & Snakes

WEAKNESSES;

• Anything that may harm a human

• Must know specific spells and rituals off by heart - if they get one thing wrong, it won't work

• Must have clear and specific intentions

• Must be concentrated with a clear mind

NOTES;

» Due to Shadow people being humans, they are not effected by Mountain Ash.
