CHAPTER 6

 CHAPTER 6

I gave Paul my address and he drove all of us to my house. I told the boys to stay outside and I would be out in five minutes.

I got out of the car and ran to my bedroom. Before I did anything, I did some weird dance moves and jumped around my room to let all of my excitement out. I'm going to the beach with One freaking Direction! I hope the boys aren't watching me through the window. Oh god that would be awkward.

I went to my drawer and picked out my coral colored bandeau bathing suit (PICTURE ON SIDE) ,put it on, then put my black sundress over it. I grabbed my phone, headphones, towel and orange rimmed sunglasses and put it all in a bag. 

I ran down the stairs to the door when my mom said "Where are you going Ken?"

"To the beach with friends bye!" i said and ran out the door. I didn't want to tell her about the boys yet; I didn't want to be bombarded with questions.

We laid our towels down in the sand and right away the boys took off their shirts and ran for the water. Harry stayed behind and waited for me. I guess just to be nice. I stared at Harry's body for I don't even know how long until he interrupted my thoughts.

"Uh Kendall..you coming in the water?" he said with a smirk, knowing that I was checking him out.

"Oh..yeah I'm coming" i said nervously.

I took off my dress leaving me in my bathing suit. I caught Harry staring at me with his mouth open. I started to feel insecure and self conscious about my body but I didn't want it to be noticeable so I decided to play around with Harry a bit. 

"Uh Harry..you coming in the water?" i said, mocking him.

"Very funny...race ya there!" he stuck his tongue out at me before making a mad dash to the water.

I ran after him, laughing, when he slowed down at the last minute letting me win.

"VICTORY!" i yelled while coming up from under water, spinning in circles and splashing the rest of the boys only to be pulled underwater by my ankles.

I came up for air to see Niall standing in front of me with a smirk that quickly turned into a horrified face. 

"YOU BETTER WATCH IT HORAN" i said while Niall was trying to swim away from me. I caught up to him and jumped on top of him, plunging us both in the water. We came up from underwater to all of the boys hysterical laughing.

"NIALL YOU GOT SERVEDDDD LAD!" Louis said in between laughs.

"Wow Kendall...you're freakin awesome!" Zayn said

I smiled, happy that the boys actually like me and not just hanging out with me because its every fans dream to. 

We played around in the water for a little and then i decided to get out and tan for awhile.

I laid on my towel and got my headphones out and listened to some music.

"I wanna stay up all night and jump around until we see the sun" i sang the words in my head until I sensed a shadow next to me and opened my eyes to see Harry laying next to me.

"What are you listening to?" Harry said.

"Uh...nothing really" i said, embarrassed that I was listening to a One Direction song while actually hanging out with them.

"Come on let me hear" Harry said while taking one headphone out of my ear and putting it in his own.

"OMG, like I love this song! This is my favorite song!" he said in a girly voice. 

I giggled and ripped the headphone out of his ear, embarrassed.

"Hey! I think its really cool that you like our music and that you're a fan! Are you one of those fans that kisses our posters before they go to bed or know how many nose hairs each of us have?" he said playfully.

"People actually know that..?

Harry nodded.

"Well thats a little strange!" i said.

At this point the rest of the boys were running back to us and to their towels with their hair dripping wet.

"Were gonna head back to the hotel soon guys" Liam said to me and Harry.

I frowned; I didn't want this day to end. I think Niall saw the look on my face because he said "Don't worry Kendall, we have all summer to hangout!" 

I immediately smiled, glad that the boys wanted to hangout with me again!

"Paul is going to pick us up at Kendall's house now so we should pack up our things now." Liam stated.

We walked back to my house where Paul was waiting in the van. I exchanged numbers with all of the boys so we could make plans for tomorrow. We said our goodbyes and I hugged all the boys one by one. Harry held his hug a tad bit longer, but of course I didn't mind. I waved to them as they piled into the van and watched them pull away before walking up the walkway into my house.
