Part three: Seperated

"Commander!  I really need to bring up a theory that I have!" Eren exclaimed. "It's about Annie and why she did what she did. "
"I'm listening." Replied Erwin
"I find it highly unlikely that Annie did this by herself or allied with Titans.  As we know, it is impossible to communicate with a Titan making this highly unlikely.  Therefore, I believe that there is some sort of group who wish for humanities demise."
"A nation outside the walls..." Erwin whispered seemingly caught in a daze.
Levi interrupted, "Not to worry kid.  We'll beat the truth out of your little lover here."  Levi said teasingly.
"Shut the fuck up" Growled Eren.
"Watch your tongue with your superior officer brat." Levi said back.
"Shorty!" Exclaimed Hange. "For once I don't blame Eren.  That was uncalled for.  What if someone said that about Petra?"
"It would be their last words besides ple- as I ram a blade through their head.  Don't you dear talk about her Four Eyes.  I'll kill you too."
"ENOUGH!" Barked Erwin. He had recently grown tired of those two's 24/7 bickering.
"Leave us to talk about this. Alone."

Time skip 36 hours

Annie was given an extra day to rest before their interrogation started.  As it would be difficult to kill Annie, it is expected that her body could tolerate extreme pain before shutting down.  This was how most expected the interrogation to go.
Little did they know that the night before the interrogation, Eren had snuck down and into her dungeon to sneak her out and into an outer town to go into hiding.
After what seemed like hours that was probably only a few minutes, Eren arrived at the sleeping Annie's cell.  Sleeping beauty... Eren thought to himself.  This was immediately followed by a blush after realizing how cheesy he sounded.  Eren had gone past the guards room while they were of course drunk and snoring to swipe the key to her cell. After fiddling with the keyhole for a few moments, Eren finally got the door open.
"Hey! Annie! Wake up." Eren whisper-yelled.
"Mmmmmmmm?" Annie groaned.
"We need to get out of here." Eren said.
"Eren?" Annie asked, a puzzled look on her face. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm getting you out." Exclaimed Eren. "If you stay, they are going to hurt you and then kill you."
"I don't really care anymore." Annie admitted. "Fuck Marley.  I'll tell them everything.  Only shame is I can't get a few swings in at Marley before I die."
Eren was stunned.  He had no idea what she was talking about. Marley?
"Who's Marley?" Eren inquired.
"The people who put me up to this."  Annie described what Marley was and how they hated the people of the walls.
Eren was in shock.  Another country outside the walls?  He needed to focus though.  They needed to get out of there.  They went up the stairs, past the other cells, and finally past the guards office who was sound asleep. They finally reached Eren's horse.
"Hop on and hold on tight." Eren said. Annie hopped on and held on to him.  Eren turned tomato upon feeling her breasts pushed up against his back.
Eren had already found a village that was relatively remote.  It was pretty much independent form the rest of the government and news typically took a long time to get there.  It was located on the east side of inner Wall Rose. Danchina.
Eren used all of his money he had been saving to buy a small old house in the village to hide Annie in.  It was already fully furnished and all it needed was a person to live there.  Eren quickly showed her around the house and gave her one of his old t-shirts to wear to bed due to the fact that it had been raining that night and Annie's clothes were soaked.
"I'll be back tomorrow to go buy clothes with you so you can live here full time.  You do have to promise me that you are done hurting people, okay?" Eren said.
Annie nodded. "I promise."
"Good night Annie.  I'll see you tomorrow."  Eren turned to walk away but before he could, Annie stood up on her toes and gave him a peck on the cheek. Nothing romantic (yet) just a thank you. "Thanks Eren." Annie said.
All the way back to Trost barracks and all night, Eren couldn't wipe his goofy grin off his face.
