Part twenty-four: Anger and Jealousy

"Where has Eren been?"  Historia asked, missing their time together.

"He's with her.  He's almost always with the Titan Bitch." Mikasa replied.  They were in their room at night but neither could sleep.

"Why her?  She injured and killed hundreds of people.  He hates Reiner, why not her?" Historia asked, extremely jealous.

"Beats me."

Eren had been on temporary leave for a month and a half and had been spending the whole time with Annie.  (They didn't know about the engagement yet). Historia was growing angry and began plotting how to get him back.  She asked Mikasa where he was so she could go check on him.  At this point, Annie was two months pregnant and there was a small bulge in her belly.  Not noticeable, though, unless she wasn't wearing a shirt.  Historia had a plan to get him back without harm to his career.  Eren had been demoted from Private First Class to Private Second Class due to his misconduct.  This would surly get him a promotion.

One day, she walked into Levi's office, asking him to talk.  She wanted to keep this as far away from Hange as possible due to the fact that she has a tendency to dig deeper to find the whole truth.  Historia knew that Levi would also want to keep Hange away from this because she was annoying.

As Historia entreated the room, she devoted her heart in the military salute.  Levi have a lazy one in return as he was not a big fan of formalities between his soldiers; he wanted them to look at him as a brother in arms instead of a superior officer.  They had to trust him.

"What do you need?"  Levi asked, a little annoyed.

"Sir, I have a location on the Female Titan." Historia told him.

Levi dropped his pen.  "Where?"  He was more than eager to get revenge for his fallen fiancé.

"PSC. Jeager has her in a house in a village on the outskirts of the wall.  He has seduced her and trusts him with her whole heart.  He told me to tell you to get a squad on the way to capture her.  He will distract her while your squad gets into position.  He has her in the palm of his hand."  She explained.

"That kid..." Levi mumbled. "He's better than I thought.  I guess for once he's not a pain to have in my squad."

"He understands what happened with Petra.  He is doing this mostly for you.  That's what he told me." Historia said.

"A good friend.  Not many of those left." Levi said.

"You have friends, Captain?"

"Shut up."

As their squad approached the forest that the town was located in, Levi told them the plan.  They had already been briefed on what had happened.

"I'll stay here with two other scouts to intercept if she tries to flee.  We have thunder spears.  She shouldn't know about these things yet.  Rico, you take four scouts to make the arrests. You are in charge."

"Yes Captain!" Rico yelled.

The only people who knew about this were a few loyal recruits, Miche, Nanaba, Rico, and of course, Levi.  They moved in, zipping through the trees until they surrounded their house hiding in the trees.  Rico gave a hand signal, and all the scout jumped down, crashing through windows on every side of the house.  Eren was with Annie in the kitchen.  He was facing away from her when a scout came barreling through the kitchen window, shattering the glass.  The scout entered with his cloak protecting him from the glass.  He landed effortlessly as the rest of the windows in the house were also broken.  Two more scouts followed behind him; Rico and Miche.  Since it was an operation of Levi Squad and not Squad Miche, Rico was the commanding officer over Miche.  The scout and Miche grabbed Annie's arms, slipping off her ring on her right hand and taking the one on her left that Eren gave her.  They shoved a piece of cloth in her mouth and threw thick welding gloves on her hands to prevent her from cutting her hands with her finger nails.  Rico turned to Eren who was just standing there speechless.

"Eren, you have done a great service to us in helping capture her.  You'll get a medal for this, I promise." Rico told him, a hand on his shoulder.

Annie couldn't believe it. Eren had fooled her and sold her out.  "I can't believe I let myself fall in love with you.  You fucking traitor.  I hate you." She spit at him with pure and honest hatred at the boy.

"I would be careful who you're calling a traitor, Annie Leonhart."  Rico sneered at her.

"Wait." Eren whispered, but nobody heard him.

"Send a scout to tell Levi we got her." Rico said.

"Roger, Ma'am!"

A few moments later, Levi was there.  "Take Eren back to base." He said.  "Now, I have a looooooonnnnnnggggggg date with you, Leonhart."  She sneered at him.

"Eldian Devil." She spit.

Levi wiped the spit off his face with a white handkerchief.  "Tch."  He said before he kicked her in the face, causing her to black out.  He kicked her again. "Take her back to base."
