I'll call you tomorrow? Or text if that's more comfortable, let me know! Goodnight Karl <3

[Now or never- Julie and the phantoms]

Take off
Last stop
Countdown till we blast open the top
Face first
Full charge
Electric hammer to the heart

Nick drummed as hard as he could as George strummed his electric guitar with force. Both Alex and Clay sang out the lyrics, Karl happily strumming along with all his energy, the Bassist and the guitarist occasionally jumping with the other in unison.

Don't look down
'Cause we're still rising
Upright now
And even if we

Hit the ground
We'll still fly
Keep dreaming like we'll live forever
But live it like it's now or never

They all felt each other in the music, bouncing off the other. Happiness and energy filled the room as they all enjoyed their practice.

Won't stop climbing
'Cause this is our time, yeah
When all the days felt black and white
Those were the best shades of my life

The three remaining boys joined in the vocals, a smile on Karl's face.

Don't look down
'Cause we're still rising up right now
And even if we hit the ground
We'll still fly

Keep dreaming like we'll live forever
But live it like it's now or never

Nick sang out the beginning as the bassist and guitarist joined the backup vocals, leaving the rest for the two singers.

We ain't searching for tomorrow (Tomorrow)
'Cause we got all we need today (Today)
Living on a feeling that's been running through our veins
We're the revolution that's been singing in the rain

They all stopped and clapped.

Don't look down
'Cause we're still rising up right now
And even if we hit the ground
We'll still fly

Keep dreaming like we'll live forever
But live it like it's now or never
It's now or never (Now or never)

The music died off, leaving a tired out band with big smiles on their faces.

This song had been their baby for a while, Clay had written it only two days prior to Karl joining and they began to practice it only two weeks later. They all loved it. In an agreement, they decided that they would perform that at Battle of the Bands. It was only five weeks away and they could perform two songs.

They had all agreed on two: Now or Never and Roadtrip. Both written by Clay but loved by all, they had high hopes that they could get a sign-on deal and hopefully create an album and add the others songs. Sure, if they didn't, they would be heartbroken but they knew that making it big in the music industry wasn't easy. They were all willing to wait, no matter how long it took.

Alex and Clay turned around to look at their friends, Nick was breathing heavily as he tried to catch his breath and the other two were sweaty, panting heavier than anyone else in the room.
