Dean wakes up with a pounding head. He sits up and rubs his forehead.
"What?" He asks himself as he looks around the room that has a mess all over the floor. He closes his eyes and tries to adjust to the light. He looks at the clock that reads 4 a.m. Dean slams his head back down on the pillow and rolls over. First he sees his hands then his arms, his bare chest, and then him.... Castiel. His hair is sticking up all over and his eyes are closed.
"Cas?" Dean asks loudly. The sleeping angel wakes up next to him and rubs his eyes.
"Dean, quiet down." Cas says as he rolls over in the bed.
"Cas!" Dean shouts climbing out of bed to find his boxers. Cas sits up and rubs his head.
"Dean stop with the shouting." Cas gathers his surroundings. What is he doing in Dean's room? Last night, that's why. Cas remembers, does Dean? His pants are next, Dean stumbles to put his feet in his pants and then he turns to face Cas. The bed is warm but Cas still climbs out, he pushes up and holds his wrist as he walks over to Dean. The wrapping of his wrist is coming undone, but that is the least of Castiel's worries. Dean runs his fingers through his hair and watches as Cas walks closer to him, he looks down at Cas's injured wrist and sees the wrap. He reaches out and takes the wrap off then covers the broken wrist again. Castiel cradles his hand and looks down at the floor.
"Dean do you re-"
"Remember? No Cas I must have had too much to drink! What the hell happen?!" Dean asks shouting down at Cas. Those blue eyes refuse to meet Dean's instead they fill with tears. Castiel is confused, why is he crying? The wet tears hit his bare feet, and so he wipes them away. He takes a deep breath but still does not get any air. Cas paws at his chest, and blinks away the tears.
"Excuse me." he murmurs as he pushes past Dean and into the hall. Is oxygen in this place? He wonders. He stumbles into the kitchen, and sees the dent he made in the table. His wrist starts to hurt more than ever. Breathe. He turns and walks to the library, he sees his trench coat and Dean's shirt laying on the floor. Breathe. The den is where he goes next he thinks of the night when he fell asleep on Dean. Breathe. Cas rushes to the bedrooms but there are too many memories. Breathe.
"Cas!" Breathe. "Cas!" Breathe. Dean grabs his arm and spins him around so that they are face to face. Those green eyes. Breathe.
"Cas talk to me!" Breathe. Slow down, please, is all he thinks. Why is the world spinning so fast? What's going on? Breathe. Why? What? Breathe. Breathe! Dean? Dean. His eyes. His face. His shoulders. His arms. His hands. His legs. His feet. Him. Dean.
