Dean stands completely confused. What happen last night? Why was Cas in his bed? Did they? No they couldn't have. Could they? The thought of it made Dean tremble. He holds tightly on to Cas' arms, and glares down at him. He wishes Cas would just calm down, he didn't like seeing him so worked up. He looks from one eye to the next and Cas looks away. He needs to see those blue eyes, he needs to know what happen.
"Calm down Cas!" His head hurts when he yells. Getting frustrated like this is making him hurt. He's angry but not at Cas. He's frustrated but not at Cas. On the other hand, he's concerned for Cas. He's sorry for Cas. He loves Cas. No, no, no. What is he thinking?
Castiel starts to tremble in pain right in front of Dean. Dean releases him, how hard was he squeezing?
"Cas?" Dean mumbles as the broken angel leans against the table behind him. Where Dean was grabbing turns red. Castiel gasps in pain. Why would you hurt him Dean?
"I'm sorry." Dean says, he looks from Cas's arms to his eyes. Asshole! That's what he is, everyone he loves he hurts. Dean walks a way, picking up his shirt off the ground. The shirt is on by the time he reaches the door and he has Cas' keys in hand. Castiel runs into the entrance room.
"Where are you going?" He calls up to the mysterious man. Dean looks over his shoulder and shouts directly to the door and not to Cas.
"Out." He opens the door and slams it shut. Castiel is confused. Did he do something? He walks into the library then into Dean's room picking up his clothes and putting them on as he goes.
Dean climbs into Cas's car and drives off. He is looking for anywhere to go.
The sky is bright, he has to blink a few times to adjust to the light that is blinding him. First he drives to a gas station, then to a diner. Finally he pulls into the parking lot of a motel. He stands outside the door, looking from the key to the lock.
The door unlocks with ease and he walks in, looking around as he goes. The room is small, as usual, and there is only one bed. Perfect it's all he needs. Dean slides his jacket off gracefully, and lays it in his bed. What is he to do now? He sits on the bed and leans back into the comforter. Think, he needs to think.
Back in the bunker Castiel sits on the couch watching The Godfather, it was one of the movies Dean made him watch. He doesn't understand some moments, but it's okay because Dean explained it to him. Cas hates being the one in the bunker, why can't he leave? After the movie Castiel goes back to researching and tries to act as though nothing had happened.
Dean paces the room, wondering how he is suppose to feel. He doesn't usually need to express his feelings, or even think about them, but now it's all on him. He has to figure out what he's feeling. There is a knock on the door, but he ignores it. Knock knock. There it is again, Dean walks over to the door and opens it slightly. There is no one outside. He slams the door out of frustration and as he begins to walk back to the bed. Knock knock. His feet stop before his mind does. Dean almost falls to the ground, but he recovers and turns to the door. This time he opens the door wide.
Again there is no one waiting, but there is a note on the door. Dean rips it off and shuts the heavy door.
Dear Dean,
Use your brain! You never do! How did you feel when you woke up this morning? Before you freaked out. Before you started to shout. How did you feel when you rolled over and saw Cas? That is how you feel now. Stop being a jackass.

The note ends there. It makes Dean unsteady, even though the words help him the writing makes him uncomfortable. There is only one person who writes like that, he thinks to himself, Kevin.
Castiel moves slowly around the house, until he reaches a door. This is no ordinary door. It is made out of steel, think and heavy. Cas is afraid to touch it. Will it be cold? He reaches out hesitantly before laying his palm directly on the door. It is cold, like ice. He freezes when he touches the door knob. Stop, yes he should but doesn't. Dean would tell him to stop, to walk away, but Dean isn't here. He left. So Castiel opens the door quietly and slides into the crowded room. Shelves of books surround him, it is more overwhelming than the library. He walks past every book, and stops when reaching a wall, but it isn't a wall. Confusing, yes, but not to him.
Cas reaches out and opens the secret doors that lead to something he never wants to hear again. Something he never wants to see again, but he does it to see Dean again. Castiel opens the doors and stares helplessly into the room.
"Hello Darling."
