Chapter 32-The Wedding!

*The Girls*
It's a few months later and it's the day of Monica and jays wedding. Monica has been getting ready along with the help of Gabby,Natalie, Burgess,Upton and Maggie who are her bridesmaids. She has her hair down and curled with a light makeup look.
"Are you nervous?" Gabby asks
"A little bit! But I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Jay!" Monica says smiling
"You guys are so cute together!" Upton says
"I honestly wish I had what you and Jay have with someone!" Natalie says
*The Boys*
Jay is getting ready along with Will,Kevin and Antonio who are his best men. They all have black suits on
"You nervous?" Will asks
"A bit but I know that I love her and she loves me" Jay says looking at himself in the mirror
"Yeah well I wouldn't break her heart or Antonio will kill you!" Kevin says laughing
"I'd cut him some slack! Maybe only a few broken bones and a black eye!" Antonio says laughing
*The Guests*
The guests arrive. There having their wedding on beach in Hawaii as it turns out they could all get the day off. Everyone arrives from the firehouse to the people at med. they all take their seats and wait for the wedding to begin. Herrmann is having a tough time getting his kids to sit down especially Annabelle.
"Get over here right now!" Herrmann shouts
Monica gave out buckets and spades to the children for a wedding present so Annabelle is building sand castles
"Hey it's okay Herrmann!" Jay whispers as he takes his place at the front. Walking down first is Natalie and Will who link arms. Then Kevin who is linking arms with Burgess and Upton and finally Antonio who is linking arms with Gabby and Maggie. Then finally Monica walks down linking arms with her dad and Voight. Voight has been like a father figure to her so she wanted to include him in her special day. They hand her over to Jay and take their seats.
"We are gathered here today to celebrate the wedding of Monica Dawson and Jay Halstead" The guy says who's marring them
"You may say your vows" the man says
"Monica Dawson I knew that you were special from the first moment that you walked into the district. You always make me laugh and you never let anyone down. I'm so proud to call you my fiancé but even prouder to call you my wife" Jay says
"Jay Halstead I love you so much! I know that we didn't really cross paths at the beginning but I'm glad that we did eventually. I always feel so safe when I'm in your arms and every other time. Well appart from on shift because come on I'm a cop!" Monica says as she smiles
"Without further ado I now pronounce you Mr and Mrs Halstead! You may kiss the bride!" The guy says as Monica and Jay kiss
They got to the after party and they all drink and eat yummy food. They dance and just have the time of their life's
