My mind trapped you like an intruder
as you were once a residence but that's not where you reside anymore
My mind still yearns for you,
for there is no replacement, no one to
relocate the place you once called home
It's failing to let go of the memories
for it's the only reminder that I was
once your home
My heart is oblivious to the fact that
you never coming back but my mind knows very clearly that you never
turning back
It once knew that you were never going to stay but my heart could never accept that
It knew that there were endless possibilities that you would one day leave
I just never thought it could be so soon
