You are a flower trapped in the ground
begging to be relocated,
ages passed
as you sprout and was embraced by
sunlight your beauty- the only thing homo sapiens admire
You came to be because of countless
struggles. As you thirst for the only thing that could sustain you
You begged the sunlight to embrace
you just so you had a feeling of belonging amongst nature
Another season has started to seize the day- as you approach the end of your cycle, you crumble as every leaf
falls down
You shutter as you wait in the darkness for another season just so your beauty can arouse again......
I saw your beauty but I also admired the struggles
I felt your pain but I was mesmerized by your patience
Your spikes dejecting anything that
comes close
Hurting I implored you to let me in.
Crying I pleaded for you to let me share your pain.
I begged you- for I am the only one who sees your struggle
But I am weak from all the pain you caused
I'm screaming please let me in...
