If I could revert in time
I would modify plenty of things
A text from you was an indication that I was cherished
It wounds me deeply to know you belong to someone else
It hurts to be aware of the saddest thought that we can never replicate or go back to that moment of our lives
Love was defined by you
Losing you was depressing stage that I never want to replay
How I long to go back in time and amend the broken things
How I would never let you go when you begged me to
One thing I can never force you to do is love me
I need you to freely do it
Stabilising my personality is my priority
You gave me plenty to recall
The outcome is heartbreaking
I wish we had done things differently
but it's time I let you go and release you since you no longer mine to begin with
