Rebekah's POV

I walked to the house after spending a few hours shopping for dresses. I was unsuccessful, only finding two decent dresses that weren't stocked in my size. I made my towards the Mystic Grill in hopes to bump into Matt. I knew looking into his ocean blue eyes would brighten up my day.

I continued walking as I heard someone walk behind me. In a normal pace, I made my way straight into a dark alleyway and I quickly turned around, gripping the man's neck and held him against the wall.

I hissed at him, baring my fangs. "What are you doing?"

He ignored my question, only smiling in return. I tightened my grip but suddenly felt myself being pierced in the back with a knife. I groaned as I loosened my grip and fell on my knees. I quickly went to grab it out but my hands went to my stomach as I was stabbed with another knife.

I grabbed that one out quickly before throwing it far away, but before doing so I noticed it was coated with mountain ash. I looked at the two faces in front of me. I've never seen them in my life.

I managed to stand up as I grabbed one of the men in front of me but before I could rip his head off, he was out of grip and the other man stood in front of me. Witches, I thought as I hissed at him, showing him my fangs and I could feel the veins under my eyes.

He smirked at me before taking my head with his hands, "Debiliat." He whispered. I couldn't move as he paralyzed my body. Glaring up at him viciously, he opens his mouth. "Why, aren't you beautiful..." He smiles as he takes a strand of my hair. "Your eyes... they remind me of your sisters."

I looked at him in confusion, who is he? Is he Stasia's lover or enemy? Before I could say anything else, he murmured a spell and my neck was snapped.

Annastasia's POV

"Where could she be..." I muttered to myself as I felt myself get frustrated. I paced around the room as Li and Nik were seated on the couch, deep in thought.

We've been searching for Bekah for almost 2 hours and still no sight of her.

Surprised, I jumped when my phone rang. Quickly, I picked it up and put it to my ear.

"Bekah?" I asked, hoping it was her. As the girl on the other phone spoke, I was disappointed it wasn't Bekah.

"This is Bonnie." She says through the phone. I raised my eyebrow at Nik. Bonnie, I mouthed at him. He nods, indicating that he knew her.

"Why are you calling me? And how did you get my number?" I asked her, a little creeped out.

"Rebekah gave it to me and-"

"Did you say Rebekah? Where is she?" I interrupted her.

"She's with me," Bonnie replied. "She's safe. But I want a favour."

My eyes hardened. I don't like favours. "Are you sure she's safe?"

"Yes, would you like to speak with her?" She asked me sarcastically.

I ignored her tone. I informed her I would be there and hung up. I looked at my brothers who were already heading out the door but I quickly stopped them.

"This is something I should do," I told them. "I appreciate it brothers, but I'm fine from here."

Li gave me a knowing smile as he retreated upstairs but Nik crossed his arms and looked at me sternly.

"No," He says. "I'm coming with you."

"I don't need your protection brother. I'm the same age as you, and I'm a witch. I can deal with this myself," I smiled at his concern. "Besides, they are quite young vampires."

"I wasn't talking about them."

I looked at him and engulfed him in a hug. "Nik, I'll be fine." He only nods in response. I laugh at his stubbornness and quickly sped away to the Salvatore Boarding house.

Rebekah's POV

The front door suddenly slammed open, making me jump. In walked Anastasia, looking fierce. But I could tell she was worried as her eyes quickly scanned over me. A sincere smile graced my lips as she made her way to and hugged me.

"He didn't hurt you did he?" She asked, her eyes still searching for any harm. Her eyes looked pained as she smiled at me, though it was filled with worry and regret.

"Stasia, he didn't do anything." I reassured her, although he did stab me and paralyze my body.

She stared at me. "You're lying," she sighed, taking my hands. "What did he do?"

I opened my mouth but Bonnie could tell I was hesitating. "He stabbed her with knives that were dipped in mountain ash." She said, ignoring my daggers.

Stasia's grey eyes turned gold as she started to shake in anger. "What?" She seethed, eyes piercing into Bonnie's soul. Poor girl looked terrified as she was speechless.

When Stasia knew she wouldn't get an answer from Bonnie she turned to me. "What did he do to you Rebekah?"

I gulped in fear. Stasia was very affectionate and loved to call people by their nicknames. Only when she was angry or upset would she call us by our full names. "I-I..." I stuttered.

When she saw and felt how scared I was, she calmed down. Her beautiful grey eyes returned and she gave me a soft smile. I quickly gripped her into a hug and she gladly returned it. A few seconds later, she took a step back and gave Bonnie an apologetic smile.

"I'm sorry for scaring you Bonnie. I am grateful that you have helped Bekah," She took a few steps towards Bonnie. "What is the favour you wanted?"

I stared at Bonnie. Of course she save me out of the goodness of her heart, I thought bitterly.

"We need you to help save Damon. We know your blood can heal him," She pleaded. "He doesn't have much time."

My sister stayed silent, but nodded as we both followed Bonnie upstairs. We went into a room who I presumed was Damon's. There he was, lying in bed helpless, with Elena holding his hands in support. I would've laughed if it wasn't so silent. And if I weren't saved by Bonnie.

Damon looked up in shock. "You convinced her Bon Bon." he asked, although it sounded more of a statement than a question.

Stasia walked towards Damon. Elena looked up at her in fear. And wasn't that a pretty sight, I couldn't help but think. My hatred for Elena had not softened.

She brought her wrist up to her mouth but stopped, in their disappointment. She glanced at Bonnie and told her, "After this, my debt is paid." She bit her wrist and held it towards Damon without waiting for an answer. We all knew Stasia didn't have to pay Bonnie back for saving me, what would they have done? But she didn't like favours. She didn't like to owe anything to anyone.

Damon quickly gripped Stasia's wrist before she could change her mind. He closed his eyes in pleasure as he continued to suck my sister's blood. After having enough to save him, she ripped her wrist away from him.

His eyes snapped open, but they were dark. His fangs bared and the veins under his eyes were visible. He wanted more. My sister's blood was desirable, and he was blood thirsty.

My sister, obviously experiencing this before, took matters into her own hands. Literally.

With one swift move, she snapped his neck and turned to Bonnie, who looked sick and disturbed. She laughed softly.

"Don't worry, he'll be back to normal when he wakes up. This always happens, they always get greedy."

And with that, Stasia and I walked out of the room.

"Bekah," She said, turning to look at me. We were outside the front door of the Salvatore Boarding house. "I promise you, if I ever find him, I will end his life."

"Who is he?" I questioned.

"He was my family. But now he's just my past."
