IN THIS STORY MASTER FU IS STILL THE KEEPER OF THE MIRACULOUS

After about a twenty minute drive, we arrive at our destination.

It is a small, secluded restaurant with a view of Le Seine.

(I'm pretty sure this is a river in Paris. Correct me if I'm wrong.)

The windows on either side of the door are open and let the cool spring breeze flow through. The door is propped open by a chalkboard sign displaying the specials of the day.

I go to open the car door but Adrien beats me to it, extending a hand to help me out.

"Such a gentleman," I tease as I take his hand.

He scoffs.

We walk into the restaurant and Adrien finds our reservation. Our table is outside, under strings of faerie lights.

He pulls my chair out and we both take a seat.

I open my menu; "how do you even know this place?"

He glances up from his menu, "I have my secrets."

I scoff.

The sun starts to set, making the faerie lights and the candles on the tables the only source of lights. I can't help but love this place.

"Omg it's Adrien Agreste," shouts someone from nearby.

We both look over and a girl with a phone pointed at us and snapping pictures.

"Ugh," I look over at Adrien grimacing, "I was hoping to avoid this."

The waitress shoos the girl away, but not after she's taken a few pictures.

Adrien's modeling has become more well-known and he gets the occasional fan. He has been in multiple magazines.

"I know you love it," I tease and he grins.

"Ha ha."

I suddenly get serious, "why weren't you at school today or yesterday?"

"You really want to know?" He gives me a troubled expression.

I reach over and touch his arm. He looks up at me and I nod.

"Truth is, sometimes I just need a break. I get so stressed and angry. My father, sometimes he gets a bit carried away, and he yells and he's never there. So the only time I can get away from him is at school. And sometimes even school can be too much. So I skip, and spend the day as Chat Noir."

I look at him and see all the anger and sadness under his smile.

"Adrien," I say.

But he keeps going, "It helps, being Chat Noir. I don't have as many duty's."

He takes my hand, "I'm here if you want to talk," I say.

He smiles, "Anyway," he leans back and I take my hand away, "I didn't mean to ruin the moment. You were saying how handsome I was."

I laugh, "you wish."

The waiter comes and we order.

Around 20 minutes later, the waiters come out and ushers people inside.

Me and Adrien stand, "what's wrong?" I ask a waiter.

"There's an akuma near here, come inside you'll be safe."

I turn to Adrien and he winks.

He takes my hand and we run from the restaurant, leaving the waitress.
