A/N: Thank you for reading this far!
My first time writing and I'm so happy that people spent time to read it!
I hope this story interests you!!
School on Friday can't go by any slower. Each hour seems slower than the last.
The day started off miserably. I slept through my alarm and was still exhausted from finishing last nights homework. I woke to my mom ripping the warm sheets from my body, exposing my body to the cold air. Having barely any time, I was forced to rush through my morning routine, having almost no time to brush my teeth. I could not be late, as I so often was.
Opening my dresser, I threw on the first set of clothing I saw. I wore leggings with a baggy sweatshirt and hoping down the stairs, I twisted my hair into a bun on top of my head.
I arrive at school out of breath, but luckily on time. I didn't have time to eat. I sigh in exasperation as I open my locker. At least it's Friday.
I inhale and smell the sweet smell of coffee. I can't help but feel jealous for that lucky person.
"For you M'Lady."
I turn to the familiar blond leaning against the locker next to mine, holding two steaming cups of coffee. He takes a sip of his.
I eye the cup and take the necessary books from my locker, heaving them into my arms.
"I did not poison it," he teases, turning to face me and nudging the cup closer.
I scrunch my nose.
"Not a coffee fan? Fine, I bet someone else would be more than hap-"
I interrupt him and grab the coffee from his outstretched hand and take a long sip.
I smile and remember last night. He takes my elbow and guides me towards the science classroom. We make our slow progress through the busy hallways.
With two minutes to spare, we make it. Walking inside, I spot Alya at our usual spot.
She crosses her arms when she spots me and Adrien. She eyes the matching coffee cups.
He says goodbye and I walk to my seat.
"I see things are escalating." Alya says when I sit down.
I swat at her, "Alya."
"Phase two," she nods to the coffee cup.
I give her another swat and she snickers. I know I can't keep this a secret from Alya. But it's okay if she knows, I guess. She's my best friend.
I heave the heavy book onto my desk and she leans closer.
"So," she starts.
I glance at her, recognizing that face.
"So," I repeat.
"This Sunday, Nino's house, parents are gone, no school Monday, equals party!" she exclaims, enunciating every letter in party.
I groan. I'm not a huge fan of parties. But I don't mind the occasional hangout with my friends.
"Nino assures Adrien will be there," she winks.
I roll my eyes, "Hmm, I will have to check, but I think I can go."
She whoops, earning a few glances from other classmates.
That night, I wait for Adrien impatiently. I am sprawled on the floor of my room. I put all my homework and practice sheets around me. I even took out the dry erase board.
