This whole story is basically in Marinettes POV.
"Come on princess," Adrien says. He pulls me out of our tight embrace and takes my hand.
I stay close to his side as we make the short journey to the bakery.
We walk slowly, in a comfortable silence. Everything feels right but also wrong. But, I do want to be with Adrien. He makes me happy. And I want to make him happy too. We understand each other. The stress of Paris depending on you, school and extra curriculars. We have a lot in common. He can understand the stress.
We arrive at the bakery, a lamp nearby casting a glow upon us. I face Adrien.
"Mari," he lifts my chin, "we need to talk about this."
"I know," I respond, barely over a whisper.
He pauses in thought, "I think we should keep this a secret."
"Yes, I agree. If Master Fu finds out, it would not be good."
He lets out a breath, "so you're willing to try?"
I smile up at him, "only if you are."
He laughs, "do you even have to ask."
I pull him closer and bury my head in his warm chest, "don't leave so soon."
"I will see you again purrincess," he says, hugging me tight.
I groan at the pun and pull back to look up at him, "I better get going."
I feel myself aching for his warm embrace. For the warmth of his hands on my waist. I can't help but want to kiss him again. But my parents must be worried and it's getting late. I have school tomorrow.
"I will see you," he says, kissing my forehead, "tomorrow."
I smile and head toward the door.
I look back, "goodbye Kitty."
He grins, "goodbye M'lady."
I blow him a kiss and head inside.
The alarm blares loudly in my room, startling me. I sit up and rub my eyes. It's much too early for a teenager.
I yawn and slowly get ready for school. Soon after, my mother calls me down. She hands me a pastry and I head to school.
While walking, I can't help but notice the warmer weather. The warm breeze feels nice.
I arrive at school, on time for once, and head to first class science.
The class is full but I can't help my eyes drifting to Adrien's chair, now filled with Adrien himself. He stares back and winks, then turns back to his friends. His blonde hair is not in its usual perfect state, but slightly ruffled. I can't help but want to run my finger through it. At that moment, I wish we didn't have to keep this a secret.
I shake my head and tear my gaze from the blond.
I spot Alya in her usual spot with her arms crossed, giving me a knowing smirk.
I sit down and take out my things, pretending to ignore Alya.
"Alya," I nod to her nonchalantly.
She huffs, "girl, don't you think for one second that I didn't see that."
I turn to face her.
"See what?" I respond inoncently.
Alya grins, "spill."
I look away.
Alya shrugs, "I'm gonna find out anyway."
I let out a huff and face her again. How did she even notice? Alya does know everything.
