☁️ Eugene Gale x Fem Reader

I turned my head to the sound of light knocking on my bedroom door. Eugene poked his head in and nervously held up a bag, from a local convenient store. He sheepishly smiled at me as I nodded for him to come in.

"Hey, (Y/N)," he sat down beside me on my bed. "I got you some gifts."

"Gifts?" I winced as my probably hundredth cramp of the day hit me.

"Yeah," he gently rubbed my back before pulling out my favourite drink. "I got you three of these."

"I don't think I remember telling you I liked these so much," I grabbed the drink from his hand and opened it. I'm so thirsty, my cramps haven't let me leave my room to get anything to eat or drink.

"You didn't," he gave me a soft smile. "I'm a pro at guessing that type of thing."

I giggled. "Thank you, baby."

His face turned a bright red and he quickly looked back into the bag, pulling other two drinks out and setting them on my night stand. Then he pulled out some snacks.

"I also got you snacks. I noticed you eat this one every time we hang out," he held up my favourite candy, "and you always stop and stare at this one," he held up my favourite bag of chips, "when we walk to the convenient store."

I lightly pecked his cheek and then groaned in pain as another wave of cramps viciously attacked my body. "Thank you."

"You don't need to thank me for this. It's my job as your boyfriend," he smiled brightly and then put the snacks on my nightstand as well. "Now for the best part!"

He stood up and walked to my bedroom door. I quirked a brow at him as he messed around outside of it. What is that sweetheart doing? He popped his head back into the room with a grin.

"Close your eyes."

"What?"

"Just trust me, okay?"

"Okay," I closed my eyes and heard some shuffling on the floor. I felt Eugene's presence in front of me and waited patiently for him to finish what he was doing.

"I'm going to help you up and out of the room. Keep your eyes closed. I need to prepare your surprise."

"Eugene, it hurts to stand for too long."

"That's fine, I'll work with you on the bed then."

I heard something clicking and the bags of food rustling. What on earth is he doing? He guided my body so I was sitting back, against some pillows leaning on my headboard. Something was placed over my lap, right on my crotch, causing me to yelp. It's fine. I trust him. I just wish he would have warned me, it sort of spooked me.

"Are you okay?" Aw. He sounds so worried.

"Yes, baby. I'm okay."

I don't have to look at him to know he's blushing. He blushes every time I call him "baby". Something big and soft lightly grazed my skin on my legs and then was set beside me. After another moment Eugene walked away and closed my door. Then I felt the bed shift under his weight as he sat beside me. I heard some more bags rustle and got a bit impatient.

"Okay! Open them!"

I opened them to find a giant stuffed (favourite animal) beside me. It's human sized. He surrounded us in the snacks and drinks. I looked at my lap to see a heating pad and looked at him as he smiled brightly at me, proud of being such a perfect boyfriend. I looked at the TV to see he had found my favourite movie and was ready to play it.

After the movie he cleaned everything up and then grabbed some stuff out of the bag he brought. He still has things in there? I looked in his hands and saw nail polish. Aw, what a sweetheart.

"What colour do you want?"

I told him my favourite colour and he began he gently paint my nails. I smiled softly, watching him concentrate on it. My phone dinged and I used my free hand to check it.

Gray:
Hey, (Y/N). Has Eugene showed up yet?

Me:
Yes. He brought over a bunch of snacks and little things. How'd you know he was coming?

Gray:
Ben and I helped him carry the stuff to your house.

Me:
Why didn't you come in?

Gray:
Today is for you two.

As I locked my phone it dinged again so I checked it

Gray:
Make him study, as well.

I giggled and set my phone down.

"Who is it?"

"Oh, just my other boyfriend," I joked. Eugene awkwardly laughed and went back to painting my nails. "Gray said to study."

"I will when I get home."

"You're going home tonight?" I wanted him to stay.

His face turned pink and he looked up at me. "You want me to stay the night? ....here? With you?"

I smiled and nodded as his face got even redder.

"Yeah, of course I will!"

I kissed his forehead. "You better. Can I paint your nails?"

"Whatever will make you happy."
