🎃 Ben Park x Non-Binary Reader

I know it's late, but I forgot to do these

"Ben! Baby, hurry up!" I looked into the mirror, admiring my devil costume. I got Ben to go out to the movies with me tonight. After we're heading to the park to stargaze or something. I'm not sure, but Ben said he has a plan.

"Okay, I'm ready," Ben walked out of my bathroom, with a wide grin on his face. I tried to hold in my laugh, but simply couldn't.

"Ben! What are you wearing?!" I snorted.

"A pumpkin!"

"You're something else," I grabbed his hand and pulled him out the front door.

We made it to the movies and he went to get tickets. As he did a boy with messy orangish hair approached me. He wore a smirk and looked me up and down. I looked the other way, showing disinterest. He simply chuckled and leaned against the wall beside me.

I noticed his friend standing behind him, with a blank face. Looking right past the guy beside me, I checked to see if anyone else was with them, but it was only the two of them.

"Hey, don't do me like that. I haven't even said anything," the boy beside me said.

"Haven't you?" I sarcastically replied.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing. Literally nothing, besides I have no interest."

"Is that so?"

"Yes."

"So are you here alone?"

"No."

"Are you with your friends?"

"I'm with my boyfriend."

"Boyfriend? Woah. Who's that? I bet I'm better."

I pointed to Ben and watched joyfully as this boys face twisted into something angry. A laugh escaped my lips and he glared at me.

"Ben Park? You're rejecting me for that loser?"

"Yeah. So beat it."

He grinned at me and leaned in closer. "You know? I don't think I will."

"I think you'll want to after he breaks your face."

"Ha! He can try. I won't lose to him again."

"Again? You lost once and now you think you can just waltz over here and flirt with his girl, like he won't beat your ass for it?"

"Like I said. He can try," he leaned in, inches from my face. His lips got closer to mine quickly, they were almost to me, when I heard a low growl.

Ben. My baby. My savior.

•Ben's POV•

"Ben! Baby, hurry up!" My significant other called from the other room. I love their voice. I've been ready for 10 minutes, I'm just taking my time, because I want to hear it again.

"Okay, I'm ready," I walked out of the bathroom and grinned as I saw them. That beautiful figure looks perfect in that costume. I really won with this one.

"Ben! What are you wearing?!" They snorted.

"A pumpkin!"

"You're something else," they grabbed my hand and pulled me out the front door. I hope they never let go.

We made it to the movies and I went to get tickets. Just as I approached the ticket booth, I was stopped by Alex. I didn't realize he'd be here. I looked over to see his date and waved at her. She waved back.

We got our tickets and I remembered (Y/N)'s favourite snack. I quickly bought it and invited Alex to sit with us, since we chose the same movie.

"The hell?" Alex snapped.

His anger startled me and I followed his eyes to see Jimmy Bae flirting with my lover. He leaned in to kiss her and anger consumed me, but before I could act, Alex was already raging towards him. Once he reached them, he growled and Jimmy pulled away from my love. They looked me in the eye and moved around a very angry Alex. When they got to me I kissed their forehead and they looked up at me.

"I thought you were the one growling, not Alex."

"No. He's really angry, I'm not sure why, though."

Alex's girlfriend leaned over. "Jimmy tried to pick me up earlier too. See Jack? He's been just following him. Standing there, literally all day. I heard that Jimmy and his boyfriend got into it, so now he's taking it out on others."

"Is that so?" (Y/N) questioned.

Alex and Jimmy got in each other's faces, before Alex's girlfriend pulled him away. "Behave!"

With that we managed to peacefully watch the movie and leave. None of knew where Jimmy disappeared to, but we weren't complaining.

After that we said our goodbyes to Alex and his girlfriend and went separate ways.

I walked (Y/N) to the park, where my surprised waited. My hands covered their eyes as I walked them to it. The perfect date night.

•Y/N POV•

Ben's hands uncovered my eyes and I gasped as I looked upon a table, lit up by candles. He had a dinner already set up and the kid from the chicken place he always goes to, serving. I giggled as he pulled my chair out for me to sit. After Ben was sat, he waved the kid off and grabbed my hands.

"You're so handsome tonight."

I felt my face heat up a little. "Yeah?"

"Yeah," he softly said.

We ate dinner, the whole time I caught him staring at me. Once we finished he walked me home, making sure to take the wrong way.

Once we reached my front door he held my hands in his and pulled me close. "(Y/N). I-"

"I love you," I blurted out quickly, scared of him feeling differently.

He chuckled. "I love you, too. You're the best thing in my life."

I froze as he leaned down and softly placed his lips on mine, after a moment I gave in and kissed him back. I couldn't see how long we stayed like that for, but I didn't want it to end.

"Goodnight," he whispered against my lips, before pulling away. "I'll see you at school tomorrow, baby."

"Okay," I whispered back as his red face turned away and he walked off down the street.

Did that really just happen?
