~he didn't bother to apologize, because he knew it'd be pointless. So instead he just let you leave, then cried about it alone night

~you walked in on him with someone else and he chased you out of the house, putting on his pants. He begged you to stay and listen to him, but you left

~it was a set up. He got set up by some chick again, and you thought he was cheating, but she just had it out for you
